I think one thing everyone seems to forget about the sayains is that there biggest character flaw is that when they reach new an stronger power, they become argent, overconfident, and then they tend to toy with the enemy’s, vegeta’s is the biggest one, but happens against gohan with cell and buu, and even goku, goku has it even worse, because he tends to let his guard down when he’s confident, most fans already know this but new people don’t

Mystic Gohan is one of my favorite incarnations of him. This was a good but short fight. He's definitely one of my favorite characters to fight with especially in the earlier DBZ fighting games(like Hyper Dimension which never came out in America). Another good fight is Super Buu vs Vegito(the Goku and Vegeta fusion with the Potara earrings).

Yha the music author for this have a natural talent for making someone ost right for just that one character. Has that's what bruce likes to do i still wish he was making music for dragon ball again like every music fit every character right. Also the reason why you see so many remastered version of dbz is cause of that reason of toei canceling bruce faulconer and he's team. Great to see you back! Hope your time away went well. This is one of my favorite fights and moments. Gohan is by far my favorite character. I think what would be best next is Goku teaching Goten ans Trunks to fuse. Then the human extinction attack; then Buu kills Chi-Chi. The last one especially is an emotional moments despite being really shory.

I do agree with you on the fact that a lot of the fights in the anime are long and dragged out, like why don’t they just kill the mf😂but, the explanation for that is the fact that dragon ball z’s episode release schedule was weekly, so when they had to adapt the manga into the anime a lot of scenes became dragged out as long as possible to save time. In the manga, the fights are much more straight forward and to the point which I prefer, the anime has a lot of stare downs, character reactions, and filler

Fun Fact: At 6:41 Gohan is paying tribute to Goku If you go back to the Frieza saga, when Goku arrived on the battle field right before Frieza kills Vegeta, Goku walked right up to Frieza with 0 fear And when Gohan shares his memories of Goku after he died from Cell, Gohan references that moment with him and Frieza saying watching his dad step up to Frieza like makes him strong So Gohan does the same thing Goku did to Frieza, he stepped right up to Buu with absolutely 0 fear in his heart.... Yes finally but i wish we didn't move so fast with this part. Yha this gohan was so strong he actually surpassed the SSJ3 level in just one day also fun facts about this episode is that gohan was supposed to be beat buu but because the fans wanted goku back they changed it and you can tell by the scenes from the first half to the end. Also we don't call this gohan mystic we call it ultiamte and also another fun fact in videos games the old ones like Budokai tenkaichi and stuff they called this gohan an adult but here he's still a teen as remember its still the same day as in the tournament and where goku was bought back from the dead but with the time limit. So in video games they called the gohan who fought cell a teen even though he was not a teen yet.

I think the reason Gohan specifically tends to drag his fights out is because he's trying to give the villain a taste of their own medicine. Like Cell and then Buu were really putting down the terror and pain on the cast and the world so Gohan probably wants to show them what it's like. Of course like the villains when they do that, it bites him in the end. I will forever say that I wish Goku and Vegeta called Gohan and Gotenks in to help with Kid Buu. That way they still get their moment to shine while their sons don't just get pushed aside. Like they could have done some really cool stuff like Gohan helping Goku make the spirit bomb. Ah well just wishful thinking there.

Mr.Popo saved Dende from Buu when he came out of the time chamber. He knew that Dende had to survive because without him they wouldn't be about to use the Dragonballs. After Buu brew up Gohan and the others took there time looking for Dende, that's what Gohan sensed easier, that he was still alive (and they found Hercule along the way lol)
