Sadly it's common for these Winco's to have failed bearings, but to unseize it, you just need to put some oil down the top bearing until it loosens up, and run it for a few minutes. Although bearings need Grease, for what you can do now, it's the only option to get the fan going again.

Okay thanks I might try it the fan is pretty old so I’m not too suprised but yeah the moter is completely locked up

@@RyanFowler-co1xf Yeh, the bearings in these Winco aren't the best hence why it's pretty common for them to have failed bearings, though some old fans have much better bearings than these things

@@mrtisan29 yeah true like for example mistrals are old and they spin really fast and the bearings in them are really solid

Get Some 3 In 1 or WD40 and put a couple drops into the bearings and it should run better, Typically WD40 Isn't recommended but when the bearings are all seized, Its what has to be done. Oh that might help I did watch the video and it seemed to have worked with his fan
