Added validation to what I'm already doing (key light placement / camera setup / MC4 lights), and gave me some perspective as well (try using no grid instead of always shooting with it). I also have a dark blue-ish wall in my studio. I certainly have been overthinking my setup....I already have everything I need and just need to keep tinkering and trust my eye. This was very helpful!! 🙌🏾

This is very similar to my own setup. I painted all of my walls black, which helps give off a certain vibe for my studio, but I wish I had left the ceiling white for bouncing light. Great demonstration for how practical and powerful a simple three-light setup can be!

Sigma 18-35mm is my favourite 🤩 lens of all time and Sigma 85mm. I have been using it for the past 4 years now and I can still say it’s really hard to find any lens that can beat this lens in digital filmmaking world. Apart from the real cinema lens like Panavision and IMAX cine lens it really hard to beat the sigma lens if you truly know how to use them.. good video btw, I can only give one ☝🏾 recommendation I think 💭 maybe try different thumbnail so the video can really perform to it true potential, this is a really good video and very informative.. I try to search for your title to see how your video looks from others. Your video is much better and I think 💭 thumbnail is something that can help with the CTR. No criticism just a feedback..

love this video so much, fantastic for someone that wants to get into youtube or learn about lighting in general. Honestly only thing I would change is to get the longer SM7B pop filter for your Sure Mv7 instead of this one it comes with, I have the same mic, and although haven't actually tested it in a while, I found that sm7b pop filter which you can pick up on its own deals with the plosives we can hear in this vid, IMO at least.

Worst part about the 18-35 is when I do multicam and need matching lenses. For whatever reason all the other Art lenses are more expensive 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 and though buying another 18-35 is practical, I want options in my kit.
