In God's Menu, they use cooking as a metaphor to talk about music, their musical identity, and how they are "master chefs" at what they do, mixing different ingredients to develop new flavors (new sounds). They say that by choosing something from their menu, you will never get bored, and the dish is always hot... They talk about not having a formula (after all, they don't need that kind of thing to deliver something good)... And I interpret the settings as metaphors for music as well. The kitchen and restaurant settings are the most obvious since the relation between food and music is explicitly stated in the lyrics. Then there is the laboratory setting, and laboratories are where we experiment, test new things - just like they experiment with their music, test new sounds... And the construction setting, where there is heavy machinery and things like that. I interpret this as a metaphor for the fact that they create their own music and the work it takes to create something. And then the racing setting, which is usually the one that confuses us the most without connecting well with the theme of the music, but to me, it is clear that it is to relate to the music industry (or K-pop if you want to be more specific), where it really always seems like a race, a competition. They even have other songs where they talk about competition and how they feel the pressure like a race to not fall behind, like in My Pace where they use race cars and talk about following your own pace and stopping comparing yourself to others around you. In God's Menu, they revisit this through the setting, but they seem more confident about their position in this "race". Anyway, for me, this song and the music video together are a masterpiece 😌🤌🏼 I loved the reaction 💕, your friends are fun, thank you for the video 😊. The first time I ever saw God's Menu, I didn't think the car scene with Hyunjin was real - I thought it was green screen. Then I watched the making of God's Menu and got to see his reaction. I think Fernando would definitely enjoy watching the making video. I'm glad they had fun, I love sharing Stray Kids with others.

Hey! I just wanted to tell a little fun fact, which if you don't speak korean or chinese you might not know, but the title of God's menu was actually very well crafted, sort of like a pun or play on words. Because if you write it in korean, it'd be 신메뉴 (the pronnounciation is "shin menu") BUT, the cheeky thing is, in korean that means "new manu" (because of context). In korean, the word "신" or "shin" can mean "god" or "new" depending on the context or the hanja you associate to it (hanja being the chinese character that you equate the korean character to, this is because before the korean writing system was created, they used chinese characters to write it so each korean character has one or more hanja equivalents). And so, they purposefully chose to write the title with the chinese character for god, and then put menu in korean, therefore instead of the title meaning "new menu" (again, because of the context, that would be the pressumable meaning if they had wrote it all in korean) it ended up as "god's menu", haha
