Hey Abiding Fam! You've been requesting this video for a while now, and thanks to my LOVELY patrons, I'm at last sharing how I print photos for my journal! In this tutorial, I use my canon selphy, but even if you don't have a canon selphy or aren't thinking about getting one, there's lots of tips and tricks in this video for you, including how I print tiny photos from my Iphone and ideas for incorporating your photos in your journal entries! This was just the video i needed. I’m starting a traveling journal but was debating on buying a printer. I knew I wanted something versatile, cost effective and good quality. It was between this, the mini selphy and ivy2. Your video sealed my decision. Thank you for going through your process. I’m sure my parents will love physical photos and I will love using it and formatting it to my journaling needs. ❤

I really enjoyed looking at how you put photos in your journal. I have the same printer and love it. I use it to put photo in my Happy Planner. Love your free style lay outs. Gives me good ideas. Love seeing others creative pages. Hope you do more . I will be down loading that picture app. Thank you for sharing.

Great video. Most of the pictures that I've seen in the reviews look good but I like that you show yours up close. All your pictures look great. What is the resolution of the printer? When you take a picture with your cellphone, what causes it to be fuzzy?

I really enjoyed this video lots of great information, I just upgraded my phone to an iPhone. And I have a Selphy printer and really struggled on how to make smaller pics. My other phone was an older Samsung I think it wasn't compatible with the Selphy. I will use your tips. Also where did you buy your note books they are the perfect size and where did you buy your cover for your travelers note books, thanks so much for sharing❤️❤️

How do I get it to print to size. I selected the option but it still printed off the page

Thank you Ana! If you mean it's printing off the page at the top and bottom where you break off the photo edges, it will do that, which is why I recommend maneuvering your photos around so that the part that's cut off either isn't important to the photo, or as I showed in the video, making the photo not fill up the grid block so that the part that gets cut off isn't the photo. I hope that makes sense. Also make sure in your app, that you have it scaled to 4x6 in or a 2:3 ratio.

Canon has since come out with a smaller label/card size that are sticky too

Sherryn Davis yes! I’ve yet to try it myself, but I like using the canon selphy because I get more photos from one page so the price per photo ends up being cheaper 🙂 but the smaller one would be great for journaling on the go!

Can you use normal paper when printing or does it have to be the photo paper?

Hai hey Hei hi no the canon selphy is made to print specifically on the photo paper that comes with the ink. There’s exactly enough ink to print the number of photos in each box

Does your husband or any of your loved ones read your picture journal with your permission? I was just curious, cause that's a lot of work and very beautiful

Yes they do! My journals are mainly for memory keeping and just cover the details of a day from my perspective, but my entries don't get into the deepest parts of my soul haha. I save that for my prayer life and faith journaling 😉

Nice video. Is it true you can print whole 108 paper with the bundled ink?

I'm not sure what you mean by 108 paper, but essentially the paper and ink that you buy comes as one package and there is just the right amount of ink to create the number of photo papers that come in the bundle. You can print full 4x6 photos or make a collage and cut apart to make smaller photos

MrRemig83 they have different sized packages, so however many pieces of photo paper come in that bundle is the number of 4x6 photos you will be able to print.

Hmm...the one I use is free!...maybe they have an upgraded paid for version that is monthly, but there is the ability to use it for free :) apps.apple.com/app/id448639966
