We have been cleaning the city always and for a very long time. Kumasi is far cleaner and less stressful and calmer than the capital city. Cost of leaving is extremely cheap more than 50% below the cost of leaving in Accra. I recommend tourist and the diasporas and African American to start relocating there and they will thank me later. Housing, food, Transportation etc are so cheaper than Accra. A wonder why African Americans and other tourist will always want to choose Accra because they don’t explore the other part of the country for better leaving standards and excitement. Food which May cost GHc 200 in Accra , can cost with the same ingredients GHc70 in Kumasi. Rent costing GHc 4,000 per month in Accra can cost GHc 300 to GHc 600 per month in Kumasi.

How many 3 lane roads do you have? I like how compact and built-up Kumasi is, but it doesn't wow me. Nothing avant garde/bespoke in your houses, designs etc. There should be an egg house, a ship house, etc etc like can be seen in Accra.
@frankbediako1372
@frankbediako1372 Жыл бұрын
@markntiri8251 "three lane roads"? The cardinal principles of road construction in urban planning are to ease congestion and increase access through networks. It is a waste of of resources to build three lane roads if not needed. Visit New York, Chicago, London, and DC (cities I am conversant with cos I live or have lived) and see how many 3 lane roads they have (networks, overpasses and interchanges are more important!). Why should Kumasi have "egg", "ship houses", etc. like? Every city is unque, and that's the beauty. Paris, Rome, DC, LA, NY and Chicago do not look the same and they have their own unique architectural styles. DC, for example, heavily restricts high rise buildings or skyscrapers (it doesn't have any) but is still a beautiful city!

@@frankbediako1372 design of stuff must serve both a FUNCTIONAL and AESTHETIC need. Kumasi is a city, our second city at that, and it's architecture/spaces must reflect that: beautiful edifices etc. Kumasi does poorly in their architecture. Why? The only beautiful building I've seen there is that thankful heights building. Everything else is ugly. Aden? Don't their architects know modernist avant garde stuff? Look at Nana Bediako's no 1 oxford street building. Look at that kasapreko and villagio buidings at tetteh quarshie. Look at ecobank's iconic headquarters in Accra etc. Very beautiful out of the ordinary buildings. Those are stuff the Kumasi folks should be building, as testament to the worldclassness of their architects etc Kromu ay3 tantantan saa Aden? Kenyan youtuber is in Abuja now and you should see the beauty orderliness of the space When she showed Accra some months back I couldn't defend the disorder, ugliness we saw. A whole capital city Cities are banning plastic, we can't ban. Countries are doing Bus Rapid Transit BRT we can't do. We're still doing trotro, we can't do a MODERN public transport system. Cities are doing electric buses/train. Go and look at poorer Senegal running an electric train. Our korle, odaw in the middle of town is polluted. Etc etc And you don't want us to talk?
