Hi, I found your channel a few days ago. I have a question for you, I know you can’t record when you’re interacting with patients. But I was wondering how much percent of your work is about offering psychosocial support to patients and/or interact with them? I understand paper work is important. However, I am curious about it. Thank you! 🙏🏽😊

hello! my role requires me to interact with patients and families on psychsocial support at least 95% of the time. Support can range from coordinating home health care and equipments to send home to hospice referrals to rehab placement and more. I am a med surg floor so the patients I receive on the floor have various medical conditions which can affect their discharge plan (this also ties into their psychosocial needs).
