In all fairness..... it'd be kinda odd to go to a a Tenacious D concert with the mindset of "Gee, I wonder what kind of band this is?" I mean.... you either KNOW the name of Jack Black's band and can recite at LEAST their most popular songs word-for-word... or you kinda have no idea who they are whatsoever.

Jack Black actually has even better command of his voice than he did in early D years. Even though he drives his voice at times, you can also tell he takes good care of his vocal instrument.

Duhh. That's like saying lebron got better the longer he played lol they practice their craft for a living
@jordanevans7710
@jordanevans7710 Жыл бұрын
@@joncoger9916 Very good, Jon. That’s a great analogy. The truth is, many singers don’t take care of their voice. Either they never bothered to learn good vocal technique and they simply rely on their youthful vocal health and power, causing them to constantly damage their voice with each performance, (in the same way NBA players decline when their athleticism fades-some adjust their game, some just get worse and retire), or they party too hard and wear out their voice that way. Jack has obviously taken voice lessons and is purposefully doing things on stage to take care of his voice and maintain longevity-much like LeBron. Good call.
@omniclause4986
@omniclause4986 Жыл бұрын
@@joncoger9916 I think he's referring to the fact that people usually lose their vocal range and the quality of there voice typically declines as they get older. Jack's not exactly and old man but he is in his fifties now and it's def more common for singers voices to be worse in their fifties compared to their 20's. Even with your lebron comparison he will most certainly reach an age where he is worse at basketball than he was when he was younger.

It has already been said, but these two are insanely epic. The amount of talent is truly remarkable, and I hope they are with us for many years to come.

I was at this show and, let me tell you, nothing can capture the whole audience jumping at "we are but men... ROCK. ON" but some sort of maddening virtual sensory tank that won't be invented for another 70 years.

Right at the end. That stare, directly at one another. Seemed so much admiration for each other. If not that, then definitely something.
