Do you still use this tool? I signed up and have been learning how to use it. I seem to spend A LOT of time waiting for things to process and load. I can see how in theory, it should save a ton of time. But in practice, it seems slow and a bit inefficient.

Philip just passed 50k subscribers. It would be great for his subscribers if MyDesigns offered some "free" paid subscriptions to celebrate the milestone. My best guess is that Philip's various videos about MyDesigns make him a "go to" KZfaqr. I've already watched this one 3x because it's a lot to take in. Cost/performance wise I see it as a win/win/win.

@@wendyon4517 - I can't use the FREE version as it has no credits & everything I want to use requires credits. So, again, this is a tool like PODBuddy I will have to put on the back burner until I sell something on one of the platforms, or GreenDot Bank gets its head out of its a$$ and allows me access to my blocked account.

I just subscribed to MyDesigns and this tutorial is the best I have found on KZfaq and better than most of the fragmented training videos offered by MyDesigns. You were able to squeeze a fair bit of info into 40 min. However, I would be interested in a course with more detailed information about each function and feature of the software because it's quite overwhelming for a new user. Please let me know if you are aware of any such training. Thanks again for your content.

I'm glad you liked this video. Mydesigns is overwhelming as a beginner so I tried to clarify a lot of things with this video. There's no course about this yet, the only thing I can suggest is getting coaching for a 1 on 1 screen share walkthrough

Hi Philip thanks for the video. If i by accident made a spelling mistake while designing and uploaded the design with the mistake, is there a chance i could just modify the listing or there is no way around it and i'll just have to deactivate the listing and upload a new one?

Hi I am stuck. In my page the menu the accont, the integration ect. are not in 2 lines nex to each other but in one long line....and i cant access to the bottom ones.... video training and billing...how can i make it into 2 lines?

Hey Philip, I'm trying to get my head around the Mydesigns software. You're always my go to :) My question is... if I use mydesigns over Printify am I only able to ship in US? Or am I best using both. As I was only planning on selling to the Uk, until I know what the eck I'm doing. I'm feeling a tad overwhelmed with it all atm.

MyDesigns is not optimal for selling to the UK currently. You can publish through mydesigns and do everything on their end and fulfil international orders with printify. It's a bit of extra manual work though

So does this also make you pay for the products when thr customer orders ,like printify and printful do. Then Etsy pays you whenever they decide to? Or is it like tee republic you don't pay for the product upfront

You have to pay for the product to be printed. There's no way to get around that with Etsy / shopify

They launched less than a year ago and are still expanding the product portfolio and fulfilment locations. Atm it's quite US heavy but printful is I tegrated through mydesigns who ship from eu/uk too. If that's your main market maybe hold off a little bit until they've got more eu locations😉

Thanks for your vudeos, They are so explicit and help with navigation this comprehensive system.I love it! re Publish prerequisite: Am I to understand that once after a buyer orders my merch POD, i.e. Tshirt, I have to pay for it to be produced. Why isnt this double payment? I thought the order is not produced until the buyers' payment is confirmed.

You are right the order won't be produced until the buyers payment is confirmed. But the marketplace (Etsy) holds the payment until after you have paid and fulfilled the order. So you have to wait a few weeks to be paid for your production cost + profit

Dankeschön! Ja momentan gibt es nur printful als fulfilment Option um über mydesigns auch nach Europa schnell zu versenden. Aber ich weiß dass die noch viel mehr Optionen weltweit anbieten werden in Zukunft😉 Dann sollte es hoffentlich nicht mehr so US lastig sein

Great video! Is it possible to integrate mydesigns with flying upload, that is, use flying upload to upload the designs to all the marketplaces and use mydesigns to generate the seo in bulk? And if so, how?

Not to my knowledge. Mydesigns integrates with merch titans. I made a tutorial about that recently. But flying also has their own way to generate SEO in bulk. They have tutorials on their yt channel

@@PhilipAnders just another question, in your other videos you talk about flying upload being your favorite tool for upload, so how do you generate your listings, do tou do it manually or do you use another tool and then copy it to flying upload? Because to use the integration between mydesigns and merch titans you have to pay a subscription for each, and to use the ai listing within flying upload you also have to pay extra for credit usage. So, I’d like to know what tools do you specially use for this entire process, from seo listing to upload?

@@Patcampos7 I don't use ai to generate my merch listings. It's only been a thing for a few weeks at this point and doing it manually is going to give you way better listing seo. I also use scalable designs and spreadsheets a lot to create listings for flying. I only use Mydesigns for etsy

The software is really good. Only issue is the amount of credits can easily get used up in a day so can end up being expensive.

Am I only seeing the profit here, excluding shipping costs? I want customers to pay for shipping. The issue is, if I set a price without knowing the shipping fee, I won't know if I'll make or lose money. I want to ensure that the profit I set remains mine. When customers check out, Etsy will add the shipping fee separately. This way, I won't worry about shipping costs cutting into my profit. Customers will handle it during checkout. In simple terms, shipping fees vary based on the customer's location. They shouldn't be included in the product price. I'm not offering free shipping. I prefer to separate shipping costs from the product price, making them distinct. I want customers to only see the product price, not the total including shipping.

yeah you won't get around that if you want to sell on Etsy. You have to pay for production cost of the items if an order is placed

While this is a great tutorial, it is a lot and it is bit fast (your speaking and clicking) for a "true beginner". Maybe I'm a beginner-beginner. I had to stop and start more than I care to admit. Nonetheless, thank you and I will rewatch it.

I enjoy watching your videos and i know English is not your first language but it drives me mad the way you keep saying 'various' as VAAArious! It's pronounced VAIRious as in VAIR NOT VAA. I'm from England and your English is fantastic but this pronunciation drives me nuts cause i know other people have mentioned it in previous videos as well but you're still doing it. Please, just for me, pronounce it correctly in future videos and make me happy. 🤣🤣👍
