I got Scammed In Cox's Bazar Beach Bangladesh. In this Bangladesh travel vlog its my first day In Coxs Bazar and I explore the town and longest sea beach in the world. On Cox's Bazar beach you do have to watch out for this scam that the guys with the ATVs try to pull. There are many good things about Coxs Bazar just don';t get scammed.

Im from Brooklyn and my family got scammed in Time Square last week by those picture people. They kept grabbing my kids for photos, told us that its based on "donation". Guess what! After the picture was taken, the dude demands $20. Like wtf? My husband was pissed as hell bc the dude lied.

Basically you cook the Shutki/ Dry fish like a curry, then eat with rice. But you end up eating it raw, which I believe no one done it before :)

Bro. Be careful in anywhere in the world, 2nd and 3rd country. There’s plenty of scammers in touristic areas especially beach towns. In Egypt, Morocco, Turkey etc in Indonesia, Malaysia etc it dont matter. Theres always scammers especially in beach places be it Bangladesh, India, Pakistan!

Isnt it crazy? The jetski 'damage' scams in Thailand. The overpriced tours and banana boat nonsense. The 'less professional, but bigger group, than the serious divers, and way to many of them' a bit too expensive dive boats (and equip). The way over developed multi-story hotel/restarants, when all you need is a bungalow, a little aircon, and traditional cuisine.

Cox's bazar beach is very nice and the 2nd largest sea beach in the world?! Wow! MashAllah! Very nice sea beach except for that person who scammed u 😔 I agree with u,, there are honest and dishonest people everywhere,, even in the Philippines (sad to say) and it happens everywhere. Bro! Im literally in the middle of the video and I HAD to comment! You dont eat the shutki (dry fish) without cooking it. Not sure if someone told you that its eaten that way. Thats why the store worker at that store had a shocked look on his face when you put it in your mouth. I mean, there's probably no harm in eating it without cooking, bc its like beef jerky, but the way you eat shutki is by cooking it first. Just fyi lol But anywho, glad you're enjoying your Bangladesh trip.

Dear Myer, The kid didn't scam you. You could have cleared the matter with him in the beginning. You got into the ride after talking to another man. That man also did not say anything to the kid. There is only a misunderstanding here. The boy takes you to a long distance and says the fare is 1000 taka for going there and back. I think that boy has felt as bad as you are.

Best to avoid hiring quad/jetski/horse or anything similar in 3rd world in beach area. Unless you are with a trusted local guide.

Hotel areas inside coxs bazar. Near the beach look nicer and cleaner. I’m this may be a good hotel but there are better options - inside for those travelling with family

I've watched other vloggers have a similar experience with these beach scammers. They usually get aggressive towards the tourist when the tourist questions the price. But your scammer didnt react much at all. I wonder if it was anything to do with the size difference between Myer and the scammer? He could tell you were having none of his nonsense and backed right off. He didn't want to risk a bunch of fives.😂

First of all, I apologize for coming to our country and facing something like this, But i think the boy didn't do any scam, the boy asked the price a bit higher because first it was said that the small ride is 200, the big ride is 400. A short ride means the beach you are on, this beach will give you a round of laps but you have gone to beach number 5.
