I instantly thought of "the Masked Singer", a sports team mascot, and a fursuiter. Barbie really is covering the bases with this line 😍 The fact that it's articulated is great too. The packaging though, takes the cake 😤👌 all recyclable yass

I like the idea of the dolls having a job at a theme park, as a character "Meet & Greet" mascot! Also, I'm getting Five Nights at Freddy's vibes from these dolls, except more family friendly, in costumes and all girls. ^^ OH! Maybe there can be a Dolliverse version of the pizzeria from FNaF and the pizzaplex from FNaF Security Breach, but WITHOUT the jumpscares or killer animatronics!

These are very cute! I love that there is no water tank involved. The whole dunking in water aspect of the original reveals was off-putting to me and the detached hair I found unappealing. I'd rather have fabric undergarments too. Your version of the "creature" comfy outfit was really cute. 🤟🐸💜

I feel like Mattel definitely up'ed the level for these Cutie Reveals! I love the faces, the long rooted hair, the nice and reversible suits, and the outfit pieces & accessories. I agree, I do wish they had fabric undergarments and I feel like these could make do without the pets. Overall, a definite cute line!

But on a seious note I actually love these dolls! Usually when mattel would release a barbie line they're either too expensive for me or just plain cheap (in terms of quality). This actually looks like something I can talk my mom into buying xD. I love the posable dolls and I also like their sculpted undergarments. I would love to see them continue this line for more animals and themes :0

These aren't really for me, but I've heard there is a llama in the next wave, which I might not be able to resist. It's nice that the outfit is good quality. Definitely removable fabric underwear would have elevated them significantly and given more versatility for dressing in other other clothes.

As a Calvin and Hobbes fan, I'd paint black stripes on the kitty to turn it into a tiger, and make Calvin's bedroom, and treehouse If you don't want to sew a mask and you have old beanie babies, you could use one of their heads, although it would damage the stuffed toy.. This is like getting a stuffed animal and a doll all in one. I suspect the ankles and wrists aren't jointed so it's easier to get the paws on. Edited for typos

They really turned up the quality on these! But for real, without the fabric undergarments, the price is pretty high. If they were all fabric, I can see the justification in the 24$ price, as you’re getting 2+ outfits and an articulated doll!

Can you remove the painted undergarments with acetone?

@@recoveringsoul755 Possibly, but you run the risk of melting the body. Different types of plastic between the body and vinyl head. If you have a spare body, I suggest experimenting on that first.

@@IorekB92 hmm, all the doll repaint channels I watch use it routinely to remove face paint, but that's a different kind of plastic, hadn't considered that. We wouldn't have this problem if some one didn't look up the dolls skirt in a toy store and make an uproar about how Barbie wasn't wearing underwear. Also I don't know if it would work on the temperature reveal faces, like to remove whiskers and put freckles

@@recoveringsoul755 The hands on a mtm, at least, or a softer plastic than the harder body of a standard body. I bring this up cos I used nail polish remover on the boy bmr with makeup to remove his nail polish, it came off but melted his hand a little from rubbing too much, though on another one I used 100% acetone and the polish came off much easier without damaging his hands, but again, on hands, not the body.

I've always liked pandas, but I like the lavender hair on the other doll and the tabby cat costume, but wish it was the color of my cat not Garfield. Or tiger stripes like Calvin and Hobbes, then we could make a Calvin and Hobbes bedroom!!

Tbh, I really want Mattel to do more of these but the dolls joints are like the made to move ones and they do a specific dog breed like dachshunds, French bulldogs, etc. I haven’t got them yet, I’d probably get them for my birthday or Christmas.

Thank you for the review and how to make the fuzzy suit! I have the kitty so far and I've found the hardest thing about them is deciding whether to display the dolls in their costumes, or use the costumes as outfits. Now that I see we can create our own outfits, that helps!

I bought the Panda a few days ago at a local Walmart. That was the only one available. I dod want to get them all!! I love that they're articulated! I wish they had high heels or at least some articulation on the ankle. I love these so much!!! I don't mind the sculpted top & bottom. I love the reversible jacket. I think these dolls have cute faces. The boxes say Series 1 so I'm hoping that there will be a Series 2. I didn't get into the Color Reveal but I really love these Cutie Reveal dolls. The outfits sort of remind me of pajamas.

Yaya!!! I love these series I think the concept is sooooo cute! And love the face paint on them. Been waiting for your review on these!!! and it's the best off course 😌. So wanna collect them all sadly in the UK they are gonna retail for about £33 each! Plus MTM bodies. And you making a DIY versus love it. Here’s a challenge You should make a craft using only 2 cereal boxes 10 by. 10 inches of cardboard a glue stick paper clips 6 printable lollipop sticks ( 10 ) clear plastic and paper. Fabric and finally a sewing machine btw your my idol

i got the cat one because... cat and the doll is gorgeous! my only complaint is the molded on clothes, it's hard to redress her because the undies are really high up on the waist, so they show in any 2 piece

I wish Mattel would take the money they spend on gimmicks, and instead, put it into making a good quality doll. Gimmicks don't mean anything if, when your done opening it, your still left with a low quality basic doll. Id rather put my money into the doll, not gimmicks and packaging. However, with all that said, my hat goes off to Mattel for giving these dolls articulation, and the painted on undergarments, I love! I'd give them a pass mark, just for those two features.

I like this idea, it's like they're a stuffed animal and doll in one! I would have liked it if their paws and feet were the same fabric as the costume. I also agree that the under garments should have been fabric as well. I do like that the dolls had more than the standard 5 points of articulation though. Your diy version came out so cute too!
