Our parents and grandparents don't know about our Greek ancestry though. It's not some thing that happened in near history that we don't talk about. The Seljuks entered Anatolia almost a millenium ago, a lot of Anatolians were Turkified then or during the Ottoman times so I don't think anyone remembers their Greek ancestry - They've been Turkish for centuries.
