Lady Elizabeth can we please just stop thinking that call someone gay is an insult? God, yeah probably he was not gay, but being gay is not something bad so, honestly I think, that there’s no reason to offensse about a homophobic comment of an homophobic idiot. I say it from respect. :)

Judd Nelson was such a praiseworthy and magnetic young actors and though a very cruel treatment to him during the 90's he has remained very steadyfast in his very shy televisual career. Neverthless Every Breath during the 93 year was a very vibrant testimony of what the industry has provided at the crossroads of televisions thriller.

Judd claims he is misunderstood but all the talk about him in 80's was that he was rude and condescending. His career when south years ago.

@@TheresaPowers His career never went south; he just never wanted a mainstream career. Instead, he was an actor's actor more concerned with art as opposed to money, as that had been the way he was raised.

Im only on here because last night i was thinking about a legal movie i saw in the 80's as a kid and all i remembered about it was that two lawyers that were on the opposite ends of case (plaintiff and defendant) colluded to throw a case and i remember seeing a stack of books and a vibrator - in the court room. I had thought maybe Robert Redford was the lead actor but i know the storyline of Legal Eagles too well. As it turns out its - From the Hip - Judd Nelson. I watched it last night for the first time in over 30 years. Hysterical.

Judd Nelson was so handsome and talented (I remember going to see "Relentless" in the movie theatre). I liked him in "New Jack City" and every other movie I saw him in up until then. But that Brat Pack article from New York Magazine did not portray him in a kind light. He comes off as arrogant and difficult. This may have made it hard for him to succeed beyond his 80's Brat Pack years. Too bad...

Just for perspective, this was 30 years after James Dean's death, almost the same amount of time it's been since Kurt Cobain died (29 years ago). Everyone there over 40 would've remembered Dean's death pretty well.

The cool thing about Judd is that he brought a new aspect to the normally looked down on and cast out loner that school kids automatically assume the worse about, and therfore reject outta hand. He's a smart rebel. He can meet each character on their own ground and make them confront the way they are and the way they act. And he can do this because he is an outsider and a rebel. Therefore he observes their behavior, and not being plagued by such moral hang ups as they are, he can be like a mirror to them. He's the only personality in the movie who can do this. I mean Ally Sheedy's Character coulda done it too. If her character was not so hung up on her own personal demons. My own high school career was a lot like John's. Treated like an outsider and looked down on for my two years there, I ended up graduating with honors. And so I showed them all exactly who I was thus blew any of their preconceived notions about me to pieces. I have actually written up my own impression of what might've befell each of five characters later on in life. Go to my Facebook page and you can read it for yerselves. Peace.
