He links up with players so well and has the vision to make a decisive pass, I think he tries too much on the wings and when he loses the ball he creates a 2v1 overload on Chilwell, He definitely needs to be tried out centrally more often, the problem then is when Nkunku is back Mudryk is back on the wings. He'll need to learn when and when not to take players on.

The way players like Mudryk play is high confidence moves. You can't bench a threaten bench guys like this if you want them to perform, at the highest. Chelsea doesn't even fight for European places, develop the players ffs. But no, let's jog the Sterling in.

Unpopular opinion: he can playmake too. There are many occasions but the one that really stuck in my mind was the home game against Villa. I definitely think he didn't see that nor the skills to execute it and I couldn't be any more wrong. He's not a playmaker, but surely have the potential to do so. He might suited a central role more than the wing position

He's fast, pacey, can get his way out of tight spaces, he can dribble centrally, he is a good 1v1 winger, also a 1,2 passwr attacker... he needs to be properlly refined, I see a lot of resemblance of Eden Hazard in him

Unpopular opinion- Mudryk has been better than Sterling this season. Even though Sterling has the output, his overall gameplay hasn't been up to the mark imo but with half the gametime Mudryk has both.

Mudryk is a high risk- high reward kinda player. That's why I've always seen him more as a middle player (advanced 10) than on the wings where his high risk plays are less likely to result in dangerous turnovers. Until coaches realise that, he'll never achieve his highest potential.
