Mykonos is an island in the Cyclades group in the Aegean Sea. It's popularly known for its summer party atmosphere. Beaches such as Paradise and Super Paradise have bars that blare thumping music. Massive dance clubs attract world-renowned DJs and typically stay open well past dawn. Iconic landmarks include a row of 16th-century windmills, which sit on a hill above Mykonos town. Famous for its nightlife, this tiny island is home to 16th-century windmills, beaches & dance clubs.

To all of you who think that Myconos is the best island in Greece, have in mind that it's one of the worst. Far away from having kept its natural beauty, totally destroyed from " overtourism". There are too many beautiful Greek islands and someone should consider going to one of them, especially when visiting Greece for a few days or for the first time. If your " dream" is to come face to face with celebrities from the whole world, of course, this island is a must.

@@lenaklv4357You are right. As a Greek that lives in Mykonos I am always surprised by how much tourists are missing just to sit at an overpriced bar in a beach full of trash and tourism. Unfortunately Mykonos has become overcrowded and overpriced. To sit on front row on Ornos beach sunbeds now 60 Euros a day. Alot of the restaurants and bars are just ripping tourists off with their pricing. There are far better and more civilised islands in the Cyclades like Naxos and Paros.

Definitely one of the best places to view or pick up women, the highest ratio I have ever seen of women per man, and not an old fart in view. Amazing the power of Instagram and social media, I guess there is something irresistible about Mykonos that brings them there in big flocks.
