Ironic that the captain is played by Geoff McGivern, the original Ford Prefect, who railed against the idiocy of marketers in the last episode of the primary phase of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Loving that second (Bauhaus) logo. It's got a certain retro vibe with it that goes so well with the multicultural vibe of London. At least we can all be sure that no one will take offence to the Buddhist peace symbol that is being proudly displayed by the eagle!

Commonwealth games 2002. I was at the town hall in Manchester when they unveiled the logo. Very similar. Everyone was erm and oh-ing. Check it out they paid good money for that! Yeah, inclusive, people together. It’s balls.
