I made it yesterday and it was heven so good can't belive ... Some points to be noted I used ghee instead of butter I used whipping cream instead of fresh cream Used gel instead of gluose syrup ..

It is not the same, the mars has a layer below the caramel that is called nougat (made from white eggs if I am not mistaken)

Thank you. Chocolate has gotten expensive here ($5 - $7 a block) and I am looking at ways to make my own a bag of chocolate melts costs only $2.50 so I have been making honey comb but and giving that as presents also. Will give this one a go also!
