Authenticated resturants r missed.. non veg - RRR, Lakshman mess, Tegu mess, Vaibhav hotel, Supriya Veg - Mylari, Venkatesh bhavan, road side Chandru food centre near Lake,, Siddarth hotel, Sarati Earthen kitchen.. Many more old restaurants with new..can b shown..

Your Guide at Mysore is very ill-informed and she is not taken you to the Authentic food tour of Mysore they are all modern ones except Gayethri Bhavan

This is a 4 year old video shot in 2018, and also for everyone talking about places not shown or not explained ,this is not a scripted video , this is more like a QnA. We won't know the recipe or the exact ingredients for each and every place we take them to. They ask us about the places , we give them a list of options and they decide the places, we take them around. And definitely it's not easy as you made this comment. Don't bully people just because you've been watching this video and you feel something. Instead appreciate for all the efforts she has put in to showcase Mysore to the best she can. It's a everyday learning for us as well being someone who suggests food and recommend food places. I freak on dosas... loved them on screen... they were yummmm! Ya... the lush green betel leaves, the fragrant gajras... n the aromatic incense... all so typical of southern India... 😊

Hope you come to Bengaluru where Benna Davangere dosa Mulbagal dosa etc are famous. V. V. Puram is famous for Avellakayi items.

That’s true! But I also think they should order two different plates to eat from. I would think people will be careful about this especially in view of Covid!

Nice video. I wish you had picked up at least a few words of Kannada and tried to speak. You should have tried to ask questions in Kannada instead of Hindi and you would have made them very happy. Local food always goes hand in hand with the local language. The guide should have introduced you to some and helped you out. I guess we do not take pride in our own and easily yield to outsiders.

Betel leaves or Mysore vilyada ele is not just for tambola but is also for eating as pan. With Proven medicinal values. Festival/ marriage food gets complete with at least two Mysore villedele + few pieces of betel nut + very little lime.

I don't know u pay ur guide or not, but when eating food pls let them have their own plate of food. That girl seems to be very uncomfortable taking food from ur plate because u ordered single plate everywhere. I'm sure she might be hungry at some point of time. And as per ur food exploration in mysore u explored less that 0.0005%
