You should have mentioned the case-sensitive DB name, as you got an error due to the lower case 'g' you used when connecting to your database.

Why not just use MySQL workbench instead of using POPsql, since the option to download and install the former is in the installer already, it’s free and the interface seems more user friendly

The step in popsql to connect database fails: "Uh oh :( ER_ACCESS_DENIED_ERROR: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)"

Everything went fine until I close POPSQL for the first time. After that, it is not connecting to the database, and when I try the connect button from the bottom of the 'manage connections' window, I am getting an error message like this: 'Uh oh :( connect ECONNREFUSED 127.0.0.1:3306'.
