Doug, what you and the guys do is such a blessing for the families. I am a retired firefighter, in a small rural southern Indiana town right on the Ohio river. Our department had a small john boat, the county EMA had a slightly larger boat and the other eight county fire departments had none. Our Sheriff’s Dept and City police departments have none either. Well, other than using their own personal watercraft, which has been done several times. Have you ever thought about teaching and training?

No, what would've been better is for them to work with Doug so they can learn for the future when they're on their own. Also don't knock down the cops for not having the experience when they're rarely doing something like this and it was literally Doug's job before AWP which he then earned a lot of experience finding and pulling vehicles out of the water. While it was good for KZfaq the cops didn't actually get to go back and work it out and learn anything. I'm not trying to diminish all the effort Doug and Josh(he does a lot more than just film) are putting in and of course the more people go out there and search more missing people will get found and families getting answers. All I'm saying is their first concern is to film for KZfaq because they need to make money so they can keep going around the US(and maybe Canada in the future which is actually less dangerous than the US but Mexico would be too dangerous) to search for missing people and that's just a fact.

Great job Doug. Glad that guy was not hurt that bad. He needs a lot more practice before he gets really hurt. The police need to send their dive team to school on how to hook up a car/truck & make it where their certified underwater. Them bags can kill a person if you don't know what your doing. Great to see you continuing the searches. We recently had notification of a "Silver Alert" from Garland Texas, and the first thing I did was to look at an aerial map to see where the nearest bodies of water are. I hope someone who follows you all can search those lakes.

Every vehicle found is missing from someplace even without someone in it. Finding this will clear a Missing/stolen vehicle report on someone's desk. Removing it is much better for the environment. It was scary seeing the snap back on that line. Someone could have been hurt or even killed. I was wondering why it occurred twice in a row? Luckily the diver wasn't seriously hurt with the bag mishap. You don't want to speak ill of any organization... But they seriously were having a bad day. So glad they had no issues with you all getting it out of there and you are always so gracious handling situations like that. Great people skills Doug!
