The body in the glass case , it's possible it was an Incorruptible, a saint who's body did not decay. Saint Anthony was such a powerful preacher the rest of him decayed but his tongue did not and is on display somewhere

What was the obelisk? It looked like a roman column - was it from a pagan temple? They have two pagan columns on another church.

Next time show the huge colorfull mosaic that exists on the second floor lookout area! Huge, colorful and extremely unusual! Have not seen anything like it! Also show the Bernini floating spiral staircase used by the clergy to go from floor to floor. This is adjacent to the Mosaic wall lookout also on the second floor which is accessible from the left side of the Main Entrance near "Porta Santa".

Thanks for featuring the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, just to correct, we worship only one God with three Divine Persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, so we do not worship, Mama Mary, we love and honor her as the Mother of God, Mother of Jesus - God the Son, our brother, so basically we honor her as our Mother too

Catholics do not worship Mary. We honor her because she is the mother of Jesus.

We venerate the Blessed Mother but we NEVER WORSHIP her. Latria is for God alone.

Catholics (and Orthodox) don't worship Mary. They only venerate (respect) her as the mother of God. Pleas learn your theology.

WRONG! Catholics do not worship Mary. They worship God alone. There is a differance. They venerate Mary and the Saints. Get your facts right!
