Man, I never knew they made a movie out of this book. For anyone wondering, the novel is much better. In the book they're not zombies, the signal just turns them psychotic and violent at first, then evolves over time. The characters talk about seeing the crazy people moving loads of dead ones out of the group as they perish from all the wounds caused by them going violent initially, very much still alive. The ending was definitely waaay different too, much better than this movies ending imo. After burning the huge group of crazies at the stadium, the main characters are then hunted and herded by a bunch of other phone-people groups that knew the main characters were responsible for killing a huge group of them. Eventually the phone-people develop physic powers and are able to force the people to act against their own will, continuously forcing them to Kashwak. Upon arriving, they see the entire place is a massive conversion zone of phone-people converting the rest of the normal population into more crazies, but the new converts seem to be behaving much more independently and different than the original groups of crazies. Our main group is left out of the converting process and given a mental image by the Raggedy Man of their own execution set to take place the next morning as punishment for lighting a group on fire. While waiting overnight for their execution our main character finds the explosives in the truck, realized Ray killed himself to prevent the phone-people from reading his mind telepathically and learning about the bombs. Someone from the group drives the truck out into the crazies while they are in sleep mode, and our main character detonates it. (I forgot about this next part until writing this all out, I guess the original ending is kinda silly too lol) In the rubble he finds his son, who appeared to have received a pulse very recently and while mostly comatose seems to recognize and respond slightly to his dad. Main character decides since the recent pulse signal seems to be behaving differently, he'd try to give his son another blast from a cellphone to see if it cancels out. Ends with him dialing the phone. Boom, two recaps in one. 😂

put the phone in the freezer to make the battery last longer? wtf? that drains the battery
@g.reaper18295 ай бұрын
actually , TLDR: Lithiums do everything faster in the heat. They power things faster, they self-discharge faster, they drain faster, they get older faster. They get lethargic in the cold, which can make them unable to power your device for long, but also less able to self-discharge during storage.

@@g.reaper1829your “erm actchually ☝️🤓” was a whole lotta blabbering and yapping of nothing lol cellphones just die faster in the cold… they were probably just trolling since this whole movie is a poking fun at cellphone users joke lol

Except if the phone loses signal in the freezer. If a cell phone loses its cell signal it will work harder in an attempt to reestablish the cellular connection and this in turn drains the battery faster.

Assuming you are talking about lithium batteries thats sort or what happens but probably wouldn't have been the case in thus movie. Lithium batteries have an operating temperature range where they do not operate the same outside of that range. I phones specifically (but probably some others as well) actually do die faster in cold temperatures but its due to software. If a lithium battery gets too cold it no longer has the same current and voltage. Apple cranks up the cpu voltage and clock speed in very cold temperates. This uses extra battery but its to warm the phone as it'll actually just turn off if the battery gets below a certain temp.

🤯A movie from this book? I had no clue. If you’re wondering, the book is way better. In the book, they’re not zombies, just some crazy and violent folks due to some weird signal. And then they change some more. The characters in the book say they see the crazies moving the dead ones out of the group, while they’re still alive with all the wounds they made themselves.

the last few movies you’ve recapped have been some of the worst films I’ve ever seen, by a longshot. the recaps are totally fine, of course, I’m talking the films themselves - they are just straight up & down terrible. I just finished the one about…body jumping….where the main character had to switch bodies by killing people, but there was literally no rhyme or reason to when, why, or how they obtained the bodies, nor was it explained AT ALL. Then it ends with the lead character TURNING INTO A BUTTERFLY CACOON, before the movie just abruptly ends with zero explanation of anything that has occurred 😅. Let’s say I didn’t get my hopes after seeing the name of this film was, Cell, and was another attempt to make zombies interesting post ‘The Walking Dead’. A show that went from good, to amazing, to one of the worst shows I’ve ever watched bar none.

Also infects by screeching an mimicking dial tone noise , which further clarifies identification of subclass breed of zombie species/ subclass breed…?!?
