I’m so glad this channel is going full throttle again. You two are such lovely beams of sunshine. After the last 2 years and especially what’s going on at the moment it’s nice just to know two people love and respect each other and can enjoy each other’s company while doing what they love. It’s truly the simple things in life that make it grand.

I fully agree! Back in 2016 I watched doodle date videos on my lunch break at work since they were the perfect length for it! And I've stuck with it since. It's such a blast and a warm fuzzy wholesome feeling!

The gray appearing pink isnt Adam! It's because you've stared at a bright green for a time, so when you remove that green you see an afterimage of the opposite color (which is red) on whatever you see next. So that's where the pink came from

Unrelated to the video, but after years of keeping it in mind because of Adam talking about it, I've finally gotten "Figure Drawing For All It's Worth". I've only gone through the first two chapters so far, and it's already been helpful in improving my ability to pose characters! Also Andrew Loomis has a great sense of humour. Related to the video: those Holbein pencils are so pretty!

I just knew back when I suggested you guys get your po box back, or make a wishlist, that this would happen. You have given us so much and only asked for our viewership in return, you deserve this. People want to see you make things, happy, and succeed. Please don't ever feel bad, or like you are indebted to anyone either. Like I said, you give us so much that if I was able to get you guys some things for you to use, or that just make you happy, I wouldn't hesitate. We love you guys so much. I can't wait to see you guys make so many things, at whatever pace you can, for as long as you're able ♡♡♡♡

AAHHH THE ENCROMA GLASSES!! I’ve been watching through all your guys’ videos from the beginning, and after seeing Adam use the encroma glasses outside and be so sweetly surprised by Steph’s green eyes (🥰), I desperately searched for the indoor ones and was so sad to realize you hadn’t gotten them yet. I remember when I discovered a small channel sharing video and a smaller channel called Kasey Golden shared another channel named Doodle Date! I promptly subscribed to the delightful young couple and have never been unhappy about it! I just watched a Posca video by Kasey where the POSCA Company sponsored her video! Yes, the Daniel Smith palette was from me! 😏👌 You were so jazzed about Wisteria and Lavender I had to! That set also has some other bangers like Moonglow~ so hopefully you enjoy! 🥰🤗💜 And yes I figured you could even just pick out other half pans or buy tubes of other Daniel Smith paints to slowly fill up the palette.

I would LOVE to see a video where you open the dolls and then make your own characters for their world. But use your own inspo, like instead of making candylocks, make froggielocks or mushroomlocks or cerealocks. And make some friends for polly.. OOOH! You could make cottagecore poly and you could make pth the characters and their little houses!

My doctor says I carry the colorblind gene whatever that means and so I too suffer from some traits of colorblindness which is uncommon for a female, anyway when you opened that sketchbook in the beginning of the video I too thought the paper looked pink..lol Anyway what a fun video, he continues to crack me up everytime lmao! Thanks for sharing and much love

I hope some of the ppl that sent these mystery things come forth so you can thank them. I am exited to see your review on all of these. Gota say thou I am kinda really really exited about those Arteza Architecture Markers (cause of reasons) and of cause I love anything Pastel so these Holbein pencils look really good to me nom nom! And Polly pocket repaint YES! So manny things I look forward to seeing you try in the future.

I’ve never seen glittery Posca pens in the US but now I’m on the hunt. I use mine to paint on little rocks which my daughter and I then hide around town as a fun fund for an unsuspecting person.

You do push where the hinge is. Do it on both sides where it says push and the Holbein tin opens easy peasy. I have a pencil set like this.

The crayola watercolors make me so nostalgic!! We used to have to get them for kindergarten and first grade, and bring them with us to put in our desks 🥺 we never used them a whole lot but when we did everyone would get so excited!

Ooh, I loved watching you guys open this stuff. I have a fair number of PanPastels and they’re really beautiful. They’re a pastel, but you can apply them like paint with the tools they provide (or eyeshadow and other makeup sponges from a pound shop will work if you’re on a budget!). They’re very expressive and free-feeling to me, so I’m excited to see what you’ll do with them.

The pastel is indeed a type of pastel, but not in crayon form, in pan form. Just like you can have charcoal in a pan. You can also buy paletknives with cushions that go around it, many artists prefer working with it over the sticks, because its more precise and soft way of working than with crayons

yello and red paints often have cadmium in them, which is carcinogenic in large or constant dosing. but in paints it's not usually enough to cause damage. Hence why the pastels got a warning :3

I almost fell off the earth when I got into pastels and pan pastels, so fun. Research the paper needs they have. I recommend Clair Fontaine PastelMat paper for pan pastels. Also, with all that great Daniel Smith watercolors you need to get some really high end 100% cotton watercolor paper such as Arches cold pressed 300grams (140 pound) weight.

The Zest It pencil blender is a fancy blender, I first saw it used by another UK artist named Kirsty Partridge she has a real handle on color pencils!

Color wheel and the things with the CA cancer warning makes me flashback to art school. We had to have one of those wheels in our 'basic foundation kit', and they pretty much looked the same...in 2006. And with the P95 warning - I probably lost a few brain cells into the void and gotten cancer by senior year.....if I was in California. (School was in Florida.) Not that funny, I know. Only in the smothering heat, surrounded by cheap oil paint thinner fumes and spray fixitives. 🤷♂️ Have fun with all those new things! Cheers!

The Zest It blender is orange oil based, so lemon juice would definitely not be the same! I don't think orange juice would either, but if you have any orange oil based cleaner (I don't know if they have Orange Glo in the UK) you could compare that.

Adam confusing grey and pink reminds me of a marker set I got where all the greys are pink! It was so confusing to me, I imagine that’s how Adam feels 😅
