Did anyone else find a few small flaws in the story too? Like how the maid said she was too scared to go inside when she heard the scream,’but her alibi was cooking? Also if Richard placed poison on half of the knife, there was a small chance he took that some of the poison still could have went from one side of the apple to the other mid cut.

Yep, caught those immediately. I've seen a lot of these videos on this channel, and most if not all of them bs their way through 90% of the so-called "riddles".

Or why the President was just out and about enjoying ice cream with no mention of the Secret service? Please, they probably woudve locked down that whole street as to mitigate any potential situations. The bus itself woudnt have even gone to the rich part of town, much less would stop right at the house you need to go to. The twins challenge could be solved by straight up ignoring them, engaging in conversation with them could look really bad depending on how old they are and the fact that you're at least 21 in this scenario. Also "time is of the utmost importance" okay, then why were we taking our sweet time with the drinking game? The other detective would've saw right thru our ruse, excused himself to the bathroom and slipped out the door to go solve the case. So we havent even GOTTEN to the case and there's already a bunch of plot holes big enough to drive a bus through.

for the poison antidote question, the bubbles in the red glass are smaller, while the bubbles in the orange and blue cups are the same. this implies the liquid in the orange and blue cups are the same (more poison), while red would be the antidote. thats the only visual difference i could tell

Hey! If one glass of wine is enough to make you _dangerously impaired_ on a bicycle, then you need to see a doctor and make sure that you still have a liver! And DUI laws don't apply to bicycles, time is of the essence (and that bus might take 45 minutes to show up), physical exertion can burn the booze out of your system, wine's a low-alcohol-content drink and I need the exercise anyway, so screw the bus; I'm _still_ taking Columbo's bike! 😛

DUI laws DO apply to bicycles! It's not only operating a bicycle under the influence (could veer into traffic), but it's also considered to be Drunk in Public, which is also a crime.

@@Animebryan2 *_Only_* in California, Montana and Colorado; in the other 47 states (including here in the great state of Texas), Johnny Law *_cannot_* charge you with a DUI if you're drunk on a bicycle. ...which makes sense for California and Colorado, being the Far Left Zero Reality Mentality states that they are. Montana has no excuse for that, though, and I lived there for three years; they're like Texas, but without all the history and _with_ their weather imported from the Arctic Circle. As for the rest of your comment, remind me exactly _where_ I brought up Public Intoxication to the point where you felt the need to "contradict" me on that topic. BE AMAZED brought up DUI (and nothing else), I brought up DUI (and nothing else)...why are you conflating? 🤨

24:43 That doesn’t necessarily make sense. The antidote is most likely based on how much poison was administered. Giving her two more doses (3x the intended dose) could render the antidote unable to successfully treat her.

Technically, one dose of antidote probably won't work against 3 doses of poison. There'd be too much for the antidote to compete with.

Which is why I thought blue. If the question was based off color theory, it would be blue. If two if the glasses were poison, then that would match with a red poison. Bottle A is straight ul red, B is orange, which red mixed with yellow makes orange. Blue is complete opposite of red, like how an antidote might be completely different from the poison

As for the "Where's the poison?" riddle, I was torn between "On the knife" and "in the apple." Judging by his use of poisonous frogs and venomous snakes, Chaval specializes in _organic_ toxins and has easy access to them. And the threat of a certain organic toxin can be mitigated against someone who has practiced _mithridatism,_ the practice of consuming tiny (at first) then increasingly larger dosages of that toxin until resistance or even immunity to that toxin is attained, a practice with which a toxicologist (like Chaval) would be familiar. We've all watched 'The Princess Bride,' right? "They were both poisoned. I spent the last five years developing an immunity to iocane powder." _That's_ mithridatism. So my initial guess was, "Chaval used the frog poison, since most snake venoms (and other injected venoms) are neutralized by ingestion but contact poisons (like tree frog venom) are not. He spent the last X many years developing an immunity to frog poison (a useful and potentially life-saving practice for someone who routinely handles poisonous frogs), then scraped some poison off some of those frogs, coated the apple with it, then made a show of slicing the apple and eating it to dupe Clara into eating the apple in kind, only he's immune to the poison and she's not... But then I decided that _that_ answer was too cunning and complicated for BE AMAZED fare, so I switched to "He coated one side of the knife's blade with frog poison, then ate the half of the apple from the _nonpoisoned_ side of the knife." 😛 So my second guess was right. I _still_ would have guessed the apple and mithridatism if I hadn't gone meta with the answer, though.

I got all of them except for three. The two most obvious ones for me were the triplet one and the frog, snake, and dog one. POISONOUS frogs won't hurt you unless you eat them!

The last solution doesn't make sense the amount of poison increases which makes the necessary quantity of antidote to increase as well. Giving her even more poison renders the antidote useless.

"Who rewound the tape?" I was more distracted by wondering why Cheval would be "financially ruined" over the loss of some gemstones when he was clearly never planning to sell them and also OWNS A MANSION LOADED FULL OF OTHER ITEMS WORTH ANYWHERE FROM 20 TO SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS. ALSO WE JUST TOLD HIM WHO STOLE HIS JEWELS SO HE CAN GET THEM BACK OR SEEK COMPENSATION.

7:46- this is a common misconception, none of them can. All of them can jump higher than the mansion CAN, but none of them can jump higher than the mansion(Since the latter means the height of the mansion). 16:29- what about INSIDE the shack/ hut

The red vial at the end was the antidote. Both of the other two have larger bubbles in them, indicating a different physical, and thus chemical property from the red one.
