This is one of the finest things I have ever seen on Australian television. The writing, acting, cinematography, casting, crew - it is all as good as television gets. Everyone involved with this should be very, very proud.

This is the first Australian production I've ever seen and I've been totally impressed with every aspect of the production. The acting was very good, but Judy Davis really rocked her character.

I live in the UK, and watched the film first on the BBC IPlayer, totally by chance, and then discovered that there was a series too... I have to say that I really, thoroughly enjoyed watching the film and so far the first two episodes of the series! This is something new and different, and so fresh and so different than Hollywood, I love it! I loved the way, the approach the eoisodes (and the film) were filmed, I love the colours and the atmosphere, and of course, the music that was used in them, and lets not forget the actors, they are really great! All in all, this is a fantastic creation, and I hope that there will be some more of it in the future!

I spent 4 months at Kalumburu in the Kimberley and know just how special this land and it’s people is... You did an amazing job. The whole package from landscape to acting talent and crew. I am only disappointed from it not longer running... Sublime!

just one of the things i love about youtube comments section is when something grabs you.you can rave away to your hearts content . so here goes . to the whole mob involved in this from rachel to whoever . you hit it out of the park . or to be more aussie ,you hit it over the fence better than viv. it's not just the dialogue [aussie dialogue is not just about what's spoken but what's not spoken it's so subtle at a deeper level and at the spoken level so in your face and blunt and then you need the actors with the skill and sensitivity to deliver this dialogue ,spoken and unspoken . like "i knew that hat was good for something " is a great example .when emma and jay go riding . thanks thanks thanks rachel perkins . you captured something extraordinary or to quote you "i think you've done a pretty good job to" PS.even though it's about 3 years later . about learning to appreciate our own uniqueness and worth. there's a wonderful quality which is strictly our own which really shines out when we get it right . we've taken it for granted . "fields of fire " comes to mind and "sword of honour" and jack irish. can't quite put my finger on what's unique and special . the yanks are way out in front with their car chases and fuel that blows up. but i know we've got something nobody else has .of course we've got/had absolutes gems like David Gulpilil who are so good you'd swear they weren't acting like when he's the tracker in rabbit proof fence . he was just naturally good like the girls .if you read this amendment rachel would love to know what you think we have that sets some of our minseries apart from everybody else . apart from the landscape.

I live in UK and watched it on BBCi player. I started watching it and couldn't stop so saw it all in one go. I don't normally watch cop shows but as it was set in Australia I thought I'd give it a go. UK and American shows have too much graphic violence but this is a pearl and has such a good story with cliff hangers and twists and turns I really enjoyed it. I do hope there is a series 2. Aaron Pederson and Judy Davies so good in this. hope u get the recognition u deserve.

This is as good as anything I've ever seen on TV. Although it was all there on iView I deliberately left that alone so I could let each episode sink in for a week. That was until episode 5 was done and I gave in and went to iView to see #6. The whole production is excellent and I loved the landscape, which became one of the characters in the story.
