yee, as ava said, it is! this song is from the kagerou project, something that spans songs/vocaloid pvs, mangas, novels and an anime it can be a bit hard to get into, but its a really good story (and the songs SLAP) once you get into all the parts

it's been 3 years and I keep coming back to this video. Love both the Kagerou Project and Mystery Skulls Animated, so this is a perfect mix of both. If it's still out there, could someone please link a high quality version of KANKAN's cover? Much appreciated, stay awesome yall! The characters are from an animation found on youtube, Mystery Skulls Animated, made by MysteryBen27. He's made 4 animations for songs made by the group Mystery Skulls/Luis Dubuc. The 4 main characters from those animated videos are Vivi Yukino(Blue Girl), Arthur Kingsmen(Orange Guy), Lewis Pepper(Pink/Ghost/Skeleton), and Mystery(Dog/Kitsune). Also a new video was dropped a few days ago

Ok, since I've been watching this on repeat (again) I have a few loving words I wanna share. First of all I love the limited use of animation. There's something about the fact that the bits of animation are so small and simple (not necessarily in making it) that makes them more impactful. There's a lot of weight behind them. The ghostly pink flow at the start, the small twitch of Lewis's fingers, his eyes flashing, the way he sits up, turning his head to look up, standing, the gentle tilt of the camera, the flames, the subtle way the look in his eyes changes the moment he sees Vivi. Just *chef's kiss* It's all so beautiful. The choice of the song is great too, the lyrics fit SO WELL. It's almost as if it were made for this. The subtle gore also, of course, adds a whole new level of tragedy. Just...dang this video delights and upsets in all the best ways! I greatly look forward to more content.

This is so good and I can't express that coherently, christ not only does this make me 10000x more interested in Mystery Skulls, the song used, obviously the channel as well, and its just overall inspiring to see such good animation and art It's really good and I love it a lot and its definitely on my top 5 favorite videos on youtube. Ho. Ly. Hell. The newest video in the animated series left me wanting more, as usual, and this sure as hell delivered. The animation is fantastic, and not overstated or excessive (which is actually possible at times, if you ask me haha). Your artstyle is visually appealing on top of it, and really drives home the emotional tone. And the choice both of song segment and the particular cover? (Chef kiss) It all just comes together so perfectly, and even an hour after finding this video, I am positively _shook._ Hot damn.
