I appreciate the other message of "People raised in a rich environment may have a hard time adjusting to a poor man's life style, but are still able to eventually adapt to it and possibly enjoy it" and doesn't just portray the rich kid as bratty or overtly pompous. And I think that's a great lesson to show, because I somewhat experienced that myself with my family as well. One may find it hard to like those things, but over time, you grow used to it and may even grow a fondness towards it. It may take days or even years. It'll be different for everyone. But eventually, you'll start to appreciate the more mundane things, especially if there are people there to help and support you in adapting to that new life.

actually in Japan, minors can get married with the written consent of their parents/guardians, if I'm not wrong.

@@froggywithaheart There's also the fact that as of 2014, they were the last country to have laws made against child p*rnography. Still it's a loose law and you can basically get away with that crime, along with assaulting a minor without serious repercussions. 🤷♀️ There's also the anime culture, for instance loli characters who are clearly children but adult aged.

I've only seen one work of Yuna Taira (Karin in this movie), which is "Noble Boys". In that J-drama, she too wants to marry a rich & handsome prince-like guy, but she's from a humble family (her parents have a bakery they're not very very rich). She gets into a contest where 4 young, famous & rich boys (these 4 are BFFs btw) from elite families are seeking for a girl to marry. There's a lot of drama, heartbreaks, and also wholesome moments. Overally, I really love that J-drama & I re-watch it whenever I get free time. Each episodes are also quite short, so you can finish the J-drama within a few hours.

I really like how this isn't some cliche idea where the girl is selfish and the parents are rude, the idea of her apologizing to the chefs and Nao refusing the offered money and such. I think the idea that she learns to enjoy her new husband and works hard to keep the relationship because she genuinely likes him is neat as well

I already watch this movie and I a bit disappointed I didn't see the scene when Nao reach the end of the book and realize that the princess there married humble man not a prince that live in castle, that's why Karin love him sincerely. I love that scene aside from the scene where Karin confronted Nao ex-girlfriend.
