In India, girls don’t cut their hair until they get married and once married, they cut their gorgeous long hair and give it to the temple like a sacrifice. I read all this awhile ago. So someone collects and sells the hair maybe the temple keeps the money. Maybe, the girls are selling their own hair now and keep the money cos they are so poor: I hope so.

My hair did not grow back after treatment for a second cancer and as a medical wearer there is no necessity to wear human hair wigs or extensions. Synthetic hair is extremely realistic now and easier to style. Very good synthetic wigs are a few hundred dollars /pounds so not always cheaper. The energy real hair carries (or not) has always concerned me and the way it can have been obtained. I don’t wear a long style like M does and had light blonde/red hair before chemotherapy, so the texture of dark real hair wigs/extensions may look better up close (I don’t have experience of this). If you are a wearer you can see the subtle signs of false hair use on people and M definitely displays this (in my opinion).

Hi Shanta I think it’s not the girls who sale the hair have nothing with Meaghan luck . Meaghan have to much she doing with black magic her mother to and this is what hitting back to her. I agree. Karma has a way of returning your curses 7 fold more. I must admit a few years Meghan was pretty, but her toxic soul has turned her inner and outer looks to be very ugly. She actually looks like a witch now. Not being negative. I have seen it through my 63 years, the most beautiful woman or good looking men, their narcissistic personality makes them dark then the outer looks are affected as well.

Seeing as there is no money on the table that tells me, knowing Indian culture very well, that most of the girls/women, whose hair is being sold, are not directly receiving money for their hair, and definitely if they are living in an enclave or house of many occupants, wether they be widows, orphans, or destitute females, or are in groups of women, who vow to be nuns of some sect (Christian, Hindu, Jain or Bhuddist) the money will go to their household or "benefactor" in return for lodging, clothing and food.

There are several Hindu rituals that involve shaving one's hair off & offering it to the Gods. This is a practice that starts between the ages of one & three years of age called "Mundan." It is a happy occasion for the family. Thereafter, having one's head shaved at the temple(women AND men) is performed by priests at temples & is offered in exchange for blessing of good fortune, good health, etc. It is not done under duress. Thousands of Hindus do this on personally auspicious days every year. So, no social shame in having a temporarily bald head. I don't dispute that there isn't hair that is perhaps obtained under bad circumstances, but the majority of the hair that is sold from India comes from Temple hair, that is willingly given.

My 6 year old granddaughter grew her hair for years, platinum blonde, so she could donate it for “Locks of Love”. She saw my daughter (also platinum blonde) and son-in-law (beautiful brown curls) do the same. They all did it from the heart. Any person that received that hair would have the best love energy, because they did it out of love, kindness and compassion for their fellow man, woman, or child going through a difficult life situation 🥰💕🤗❤.

I think MM used too many Harsh Products to "Straighten her Lovely Curly Hair which looks too much like Black Hair" so she could Pass Completely for White. I think MM's inability to Succeed is due to her own mean spirit. Have seen early photos & MM's hair was pretty but 25 yrs later it's dull & greasy. Her Wedding Day hair looked burnt.

The most unhappy people are the ones who obsess over their looks and place in society. The aging process is inevitable and should be acceptable. Unfortunately, in first world countries we’re raised with vanity and greed and it’s difficult to be the odd one out because we’re social creatures. However, it’s curious that Meghan doesn’t embrace her naturally tight curly hair. The young girls who provide their beautiful locks live in third world countries a concept the majority of us have little understanding . I’m not defending Meghan in any way, shape or form nor do I believe there is some type of hocus pocus at play. Just simple people trying to earn a living.

When I was in Elementary school, I had a girl in my class that I was friendly with but she kept a little more to herself. She had a slight accent at 1st and if her parents came to school or to pick her up, they talked to her in some other language. Her name was Margarita.Every spring her mother would cut her hair to a short pixie cute, which she liked. Her hair grew so fast and thick that by the next spring She would end up with it so long she would end up sitting on it if she wasn't careful. After a few years her mom or grandma would do her hair in braids and other complex mixes of small braids. All the girls envied her. She sometimes liked her hair sometimes hated it. I often wondered how long her hair would be if she didn't have it cut every spring. If she just left it she would probably have it in a braid twice or 3 times the length of her body. She moved away after grade 6 so I never saw her again but I think of her now and again. When we were bored in class but had to sit quiet, something I and a few others had a hard time with, we would sit and stare at the back of her hair and she if we could see it growing. Margarita told us we were all silly because sometimes she had checked in the mirror and couldn't see it. Some us girls wished our hair would grow even half as fast. Now that I'm in my mid 60's and losing my hair, I wonder how her hair managed to grow so thick and fast, and if they managed to figure it out and could maybe make some pills or something and give people like me a bit of help.

The Navajo Native Americans believe absolutely that it was the hair that enabled their great tracking abilities and to cut it short would deprive them of that. An experiment was done in WW2 where the Navajo, renowned for their unique language which was used for creating codes that only they could decipher were divided into 2 groups, one allowed to keep their hair long, and the others shaved regulation army short. The long hair group kept all of their long held abilities, the short group lost it. Now,we can argue that the fails were self prophesying, but either group were not told as to why half could keep their hair and others not. We also have the story of sansom in the bible, so maybe, just maybe, our ancient forebears knew something in the power of hair. If it's good enough for the Navajo it's good enough for me!

Thank you for a very interesting reading, Shanta =). I read a while back that young Indian girls go to the temple to shave their heads as a sacrifice, and that the hair is matted with blood and lice, and that it all has to be cleaned, de-loused and untangled and that then it is sold at auction and then the hair is made into expensive wigs. I hope that the young ladies that have to do this are compensated and that it helps them in their daily lives with buying food, etc. Lady C always says Meghan is "wearing wigs made from 100 Turkish virgins" so I looked it up to see where human hair wigs are sourced.

Hair can be curly, straight, thick, thin frisky. Megan Markel have frisky hair and pay alot for Brazilian blow. Wigs and extension is artificially. Some wig are of horse hair. Megan Markel spend a fortune on her hair do. There are more than this girls that shave their head in a religious reason. God bless the royal family and keep them safe.
