The fact its called mystixx because they couldn't be bothered to trademark any other names. "Stix" was something the company developed that had nothing to do with dolls but i guess they liked it and couldn't be bothered trademarking anything else

Another thing is that this was probably a piss poor attempt at remaking their Mystikats doll line. They even have the same names and everything. The only difference is that Mystikats had a budget.

Oh... Oh production team. You should have just kept the whole thing in silhouette. Or, you know, just not made it at all. Effort and creativity matter, no matter what the budget. Actually, I don't blame you, production team. I blame whichever executive pushed this thing forward without a solid idea behind it. If the idea's hollow, the product will be hollow, even with good production values. But seriously... this is really, astonishingly bad.

Gives me an early 90s goth "I don't even know what goth is" vibe. The makeup and costumes look so cheap; the editing is abysmal, the singing is off key, they can't dance, and the beat is utter crap. It's like seeing a trainwreck and then seeing the train catch up in flames.

Guys, this is NOT a toy line from the big companies, so their stuff will be pretty low-budget. It takes a lot of money to make the dolls in the first place, and even MORE money to promote them. They're just making something they think will sell well. Monster High dolls are a huge hit, and every hit's going to have it's copy-cats. There are tons of knock-offs based on MH dolls, this is just one of them. And this line is pretty original. These dolls are a 2-in-1 deal, which I've never seen before.
