It’s not as hard to code as you think. Most likely there’s a counter for both players, if the count is 0 for both players game continues, if the count is 1 for one player, that player wins, if the count is 1 for both players, game draw. Relay soul is coded to add 1 to opponents count and Exodia adds 1 to player win count. The counts are checked after each action taken and both occurred within one action, so the computer checked and saw they both had 1 so draw. The problem is easy to solve, what’s important is being disciplined and organised to avoid making mistakes

4:11 I... and to think other online card games can glitch cards at utter random. I had one botch my ability to search cards in key turns on multiple occasions, but some nut actually coded this interaction to work in master duel exactly how i would expect it to. Hats off to them. 7:51 it's my boy 003! Deskbots are so great... 19:39 i actually really like when they do things like this, because it makes me go check the name, this is one of those hybridization of Classification pulls, that can happen with some monsters in the game, though i see it most with certain plant archetypes. Bufo for a kind of Toad, -licula as a modification of a species of pitcher plant. it's not the first or last time they've done this. 23:08 i have never seen someone pull that off in my life. well play- .... Oh. OH HECK NO. NO I know that deck to well! 26:05 all of that. All of that to resolve the hardest effect in zoodiacs... to end up like this. not like this!!! but my love for Cubics outweighs my love for zoodiac, so...

Crimson nova isn't effected by monsters with 3000 attack or lower so if he could get that on the field seemed like a sure win to me 🤷

Cubic isn't going to actually be scared of zeus simply because most of the backrow has good grave effects, crimson nova is immune to zeus, and the smaller stuff either doesn't matter or only needs to be there for a moment to send something to grave.

I've used Relay Soul *WAY* too many times to not know *EXACTLY* how that first game was ending. The only thing that surprised me was that both animations didn't play. Also, that Boarbow player got what they deserved.

No. They cant be considered leaving the field despite not on the field anymore. Thats why xyz materials csnt activate their floating effects if their clause is "If this card leaves the Field" than "If this card is sent to the Gy".

A month later, but: some in luke's chat were like "that's cheating, peaceful burial says you can't activate that card's effects". well actually Exodia's "effect text" is not an effect that activates but an alternative win condition, thus peaceful burial does not negate it. I actually asked this from my local yugioh judge aswell and he concurred this is indeed how it should play out.

There must be separate values for winning and losing. If the game checks for win/loss and the same player achieves win+loss or two players achieve win+win or loss+loss the game registers a draw.
