RIP Grant... You were a true inspiration.

Both Grant and Jessi both passed away for those that didn't know. Jessi wasn't on the show nearly as often but she lost her life breaking the women's land speed record at 522 mph in 2019.

Rest in peace Grant and Jessi

Yeah, they definitely should have revisited this. They just kept missing the jump and that last one they did was ultra unsatisfying. RIP to Grant though.

Like I said it all boils down to a simple physics equation. Velocity, Angle & Trajectory. If I can figure that out spending 2 minutes on Google, sure enough Jamie, Adam, math whiz Grant, with all of their knowledge and experience know this as well... Whether they are "doing it for the fans", or for the show. It's all just for entertainment. Deep down you have to know this... Come on :-)

I'm basing it on common sense physics... There is no way that a ten ton bus is going to go popping up in the air and land on the other side. Just watch the scene on Hulu and get back to me. Jamie and Adam are smart enough to know this would never work in a million years. And even if they DIDN'T know, it's just a physics calculation... Knowing the angle and velocity you would know whether it would clear the space or not. Again they KNOW this. It's all just for show.

Failed myth-busting! The bus made the jump at nearly 70mph then slowed down to 55mph on landing. The speedometer is clearly shown before the jump.

Does anyone actually believe a bus could "jump" a gap in a freeway in real life? For those few that might still believe that let me save you the trouble, NO.... With a huge ramp, a modified bus, and several attempts, MAYBE. They should call this show Crashbusters because these days it's more about testimg an impossible "myths" just to have an excuse to blow something up or crash something at the end of the show....

Also I'm using the movie scene as a reference, the same as they do. The premise is that what you see in the movie may be possible. But clearly the movie is taking a HUGE liberty by having the bus pop up in the air to make it appear that it is possible for a bus to make that gap. Obviously in the real world a bus\car\anything would just continue straight along the same path and fall depending on how fast it was going. No gap like that could be cleared without a ramp.
