Today i do some testing on myths in dayz, if you have any idea's or suggestions for a part 2, comment below. Most of this footage was recorded on PC offline mode with no mods (vanilla settings)

I logged in a day later to see if the barrel and the wall despawned outside of the map and they didnt, Maybe stashing loot outside of the map is possible?

Note that you can't drive vehicle outside the map. It falls through slightly and gets stuck. Tested this long ago, I wouldn't imagine they changed something like that.

throwing meat at wolves is from the long dark. Not Dayz, it will not work i have tried it

Why cant someone make a dayz video of a tutorial of the hole map from birdseye view so we can see all the forest areas and possible hidden base locations in the woods for a base setup

Myth: If a guy has a grenade in hand and puts it back in inventory and stands next to a car, it doesn't do as much damage as if he threw it.

Bushes are insane! Seems like I lose at least half health standing 40 feet from a grenade explosion

Ive seen wolves wander out that boundary before when i was fighting them but they couldnt get back in.

I don't think anything would happen to you as long as you're on foot. Don't ever try to drive out of the map. Me and my buddies, all four of us lost consciousness all of a sudden, then we heard the metal noises as if we collided with something and all just died. We have reached the spot where we died before server restart and the car was completely gone, probably under the texture or something

I tested a myth on my own server the other night about driving a car off the map it will ruin car and kill you if you are not full health lucky i was

The engine of vehicles no longer revs itself to ruined state once vehicle starts flying? it used to. I haven't touched the game in a long time. Also you can't do some of the busting on PC and some on console(s). . . They won't work the same always.

Myth: Zomvies and bears attack each other when not aggroed at you. I have never seen them kill each other.

@@11ITK Yes, zombies attack pigs, hogs, cows, deers and wolves. But I've never seen them attack bears, nor bears attack zombies.

a while ago, Like a few years ago. I drove a car outside the map. Keep going tell I ran out of gas. but then starved to death. I want to know if they fixed it to where you cant drive out there anymore
