Mythic Legions: A Beginner's Guide. Today we talk to Jeremy Girard from 4 Horsemen Studios, the first and only director of sales and marketing. I (Dakota) have been getting more and more interested in Mythic Legions and thought, what better way to learn about the line than talking to an expert.
Jeremy gives us all the details on what Mythic Legions are, some of the back story, how to start collecting, and what to expect in the future.

Absolutely LOVED this podcast and subscribed! I myself am a new collector to mythic legions and I’m excited to say I’ll be going to Legions Con 2022! I’m so excited to see everyone and all the figures

Nice podcast! I'm new to Mythic Legions and my first figure is Sir Owain, big fan of souls games so Im into knights.

I think that's a pretty common story among the Legions collectors. I don't know that I plan to stop collecting Marvel Legends any time soon but Legions have cut into that budget for sure.

The Elf Ranger was my first. I had a bad experience but I saw that they had skeleton figures and I got hooked again. I'm a load of figures in already. One of my favorite lines

As a legion collector I allready knew about 90% of information Jeremy shared, but I had to watch till the end. Legions is such an amazing line once you have them in hand I feel it changes your perspective on how other lines should operate. Awesome show glad I stumbled upon you guys 🤘🏽

I (Dakota) agree, now that I've gotten a few Legions I'm really feeling more picky with other lines.

Just getting into Legions so watching this well after it was posted. I have to say I love the aspect that the figures don't strongly associate with a character to me. My templar can be what I want and I don't have to disassociate him from something. I buy what looks cool. Some figures for me are ruined by their portrayal somewhere.

I'm glad you found this video. I was hoping it would be the kind of info that would stand true for years to come. I would say now after having amasses quite a collection of them, my best advise is to get a couple and pull everything apart. You can see how far they can be broken down on the 4 Horsemen website. But doing that for me, made me see them in more ways. not only for what they are but what I could make them to be with the pop and swap abilities.

@@thestrongcollectors That is good advice. Only started a month ago so my collection is small, and obtained through retail prices, though I did buy one older figure because I thought it was too cool not to have. Need to get some builders so I can start moving around things, like maybe get a head for my Black Templar. So far my characters are too different to really mix, as a gladiator head on a goblin body would be weird, probably.

@@thestrongcollectors Thanks. I saw that video in my feed after watching this one. Will check it out after work. Does the black cat head require that neck/shoulder piece? I have Arethyr because he is cool, and Vermillius II for the same reason. Otherwise all more recent with Dark Templar, Skeleton deluxe, Duban, Rahmulus, Lady Avarona and Swigg. So kind of all over the place.

Those are some good ones. and no the cat head doesn't need the neck fur part to go with it. That's more for if you're using it on a bare chest body, but even then I'd use the neck fur that came with black Krampus instead. I did a pop and swap with the new Cosmic Wal Tor using the black cat head and some of the black parts form Krampus and I really like it. Before that I had the cat head on the Dark Templar and then the Headless Horseman.
