I was able to get the tail on my version just by raising the fur piece as high as could and slipping the flat end of the ball joint piece of the tail thru the gap between the body of hip. Mine slipped rt in and I gave a slight wiggle and it connected rt on cause it isn’t coming no out no unless I take it apart like u did. So try that way I did it before taking it all apart. Least my way worked for me and I had no issue on having to take it apart. The fur laid back over the tail no issue to. It literally just slipped rt in there. I couldn’t even see it do it but it’s got a tight connection once it went in and I gave that little push and wiggle to get it to connect around that ball joint.

Love it, great breakdown and review. Poxxus was my first ML preorder and bring new I just grabbed a few figures and he was one of them. Originally I got him because my daughter loves dragons and dragon things so it seemed like a no brainer. I think I may need a second one 👀.
