My husband born in bharni nakshtra. Sun,moon, mars,venus all are in bharni. His lagan is virgo.

Yama who was later known as yamraj and was born under bharani nakshatra. So how come chanting mrityunjay mantra helpful for bharani nakshatra people, when he himself dies while trying to take away the life of Martanda RISHI?

Please don't go with half knowledge mam. Try to dig the whole mystery about it. Once yama dies or defeated whatever the case he was again given birth by Shiva. That time Yama told when ever somebody chant this mantra whole heartedly. Then he will get mine blessing too. Islyea use mrtyunjsye bhi khate hai. Don't just follow what I am saying. Try to dig and decode things in your way so it will be really easy to understand and remember always. There are other context too but ultimate result is chanting this also please Yama.

Ashwini nakshatara ki story me, Yama and yami were the kids of surya and sanjana... How come same names are happening in bharani stories

Ashwini has a different theme and bharni has a different theme. Ashwini main surya se related story and surya ka results jayada hai. And bharni main Yama and yami ke results . So story same hai but decoding and results alag alag hai.
