Alhamdulilah, extremely grateful to my parents for homeschooling me. And now here i'm with the mercy of Allah Alhamdulilah , pursuing MBBS from top university on scholarship. Wallah it helped me distingush between right and wrong. It thought me the very basic core values of Islam , it helps me to remain steadfast. Allah ke toufeeq se .

Alhamdullilah loved this episode❤❤❤, I am currently doing a Parents and teaching course certificate from Sir Salman Asif’s foundation ERDC. We are discussing on this topic and believe me we need a radical change in our system, and I am a mother of 2, in the UK. We are planning homeschooling primarily for the sake of Allah’s deen because here schools have made compulsory teaching LGBTQ+ nonsense (in an open or hidden manner). Ptcc (parents and teaching course) by ERDC is a great opportunity for self-development, we work on a variety of topics, but most important is that we change our mindset and start seeing change around us. Please make more podcasts about education and the alternative schooling system. Our ummah needs to “produce” businessmen/, creators and rulers. We are fixed on the traditional schooling system because we don't have enough information and practical tips. JazakAllah and I apologize for the long post. But this shows how much I loved and learned through this episode.🎉❤

Love this! We have large networks of Muslim homeschoolers in Canada and USA. Many families also create homeschool cooperatives, which is basically parents take turns to teach all the children in their local network. For example, a parent specializes in math, so they meet at one parents home with all the kids and teach them that course. People take turns and offer their homes and specialized knowledge.

YC needs to have more podcasts with Salman Asif Siddique.

I personally don't believe in the concept of love before marriage and living in a state of denial that you can be with a man who doesn't have the financial capabilities to take care of his wife and his family and children.. that's being naive or immature. Marriage ,home, everything requires you to take up responsibility and as person every individual has to support his family. I personally wouldn't invest in a man who is not confident about himself and thinks his manhood is about bikes, smoking , drinking, going out without family and having a life without family. A man should be a game changer and should know how to keep his wife all interested in him for the right reasons. If the marriage is not about wave length and intellect then it's like, there is more at the window and less in the store room.

Aslam o alikum. Me and my sis have picked unschooling option for our kids. I live in Germany and here school is compulsory thats why we re gona migrate from Germany to uk. On other hand my sis lives in japan but she is trying her best in Pakistan. There is no difference between school or prison. May Allah SWT guide us. Amin

Assalamualaikum Mashallah this was an amazing lecture! This is out of context but i have a request Can you pls record a lecture about how to deal with step parents? What are their rights towards the step kids? As for my case , my mother's second husband is forcing us to call him baba But none of us are comfortable with this He has problem with all things we do He is making us feel like he is taking our mother away from us If we say anything about him our mum says she can't do anything as he is her husband? Even when her husband is terribly wrong in delicate matters It is a sincere request to pls record a lecture on step parents and children and how they should treat each other ! After teaching various institutions I think Homeschooling is the need of the hour... Unfortunately our educational institutions have become business sectors more than learning platforms. They just don't damn care about the ethical and moral grooming of kids. That's why right now students are more aggressive and under confident.

As i heard your conversation about when children want to sit with parents but they dont have time i want to share one thing as a child i always want to sit with my parents i love to learn things from my parents but whenever i sit with my parents the conversation is about have you studied ? When you studied ? Will you study today? its all about study ,education and all and now i just dont like to sit with them because i am exhausted hearing about it again and again its not just limited to the conversation even i go on a vacation the conversation starts about study and end on study its not about teachings life experiences so i just dont like to sit with them
