Thats truly amazing

It's not hard to make 700+hp with almost 400ci, 12.1 comp and good head and cam package. Believe it or not. They even have a hydraulic roller on it for less maintenance. People have been doing it for decades now. Although was usually done with a solid cam. It's in general it's nothing new though. So I'm not sure what the big deal is but then again I've been race since the 90s. By the way, that Charger at the end was beautiful.

The 392 was a great crate racing engine - was a solid move putting them into Chargers/Challengers/300's/etc.

I also have a 392 Hemi in my 2020 Challenger Scat Pack Shaker. This engine has been made for many years. Which model do you have? I don’t know of a street legal Drag Pack. Maybe I’m just uninformed.

I have grown to respect the hell out of N/A builds - it ends up being much harder & expensive to do.

I would use SRT (392/Hellcat) exhaust manifolds - many have great results with them

This was a race engine from the factory, that is not street legal. It's not like a normal 392 that comes in the Scatpack.

@@RTLife honestly it is more that they are taking the car out and stretching its legs. You dont see them at all anymore. Kind of sad. There is one in a dealership near me with the viper package. Basically it is the viper motor instead of a v8. It has been sitting for years.

@@RTLife A "crate 392" isn't going to be a race motor. In the video, that's a race motor.. The information on the 2009 Drag Pak is a little obscure~ there's no production numbers on how many they made with which engine. Only the 6.1L I'm absolutely sure about. The other engine options is a bit of a mystery.

Maybe we’re talking about different Drag Packs?? I’m referring to the Drag Pack that’s raced in the NHRA Factory Stock Showdown class. The 392 Hemi was Mopar’s most widely used Hemi in the early days of dragster classes.
