I feel very bad when people troll him for copying. His copied films were hit but his most iconic films which are celebrated even today are mostly originals from Chithram to Kilukkam,from Thenmavin Kombath to Sila Samayangalil. He got National & International awards for original films. He is my inspiration in filmmaking field but sometimes my confidence shatters sometimes due to fear of failiure,I even wonder that is he even a good role model,but this trolling even makes me motivated to be a good director. If I narrate any of my story to any relative so they point out that I copied it from here & there(sometimes I try to copy a base story but will completely make it my way,I become tired of the criticism & stop writing for months despite I get ideas from my mind or when I was a pre teen or teen,I used to make mixup of various films but face criticism when people find even a slight similarity to any film. I watch less Hollywood since I started watching South. I am telling you this because his trolling sometimes shatters my confidence.

Hindi remakes might be spoiled according to Southies but Priyettan said it many times that he made the Hindi films which suits the interest of Hindi audience & northies love him. Talking about remakes so his remade films(which are not even exact copies they are just Indian adaptation of foreign base stories) were hits but many are forgotten but his originals like Chithram,Vellanakalude Nadu,Kilukkam,Minnaram,Midhunam,Megham,Thenmavin Kombath,Aryan,Abhimanyu, Kaalapani,Kaanchivaram,Sila Samayangalil have become unforgettable.He should have remade majority his own movies in Hindi(which he did less). Talking about Sibi sir so he is also great,anyways Priyettan's movies visualizations are great. I am not rude to you just telling you my thinking. I feel as a person he is good & even he did not do anything wrong with Lissy,my heart says this.🙏
