Sablast has just invented R.C.B.M: "Radical Centrist Black Metal" 😅 Jokes aside, as an anarcho-communist black metal fan this was actually very fun to watch. You really surprised me with that Profecium at the end, they're not very known outside Argentina. You could try out Kaatayra, anarchist folk/atmospheric black metal from Brazil (or anything from the brazilian RABM scene actually is pretty solid). Victimas del Estado plays a nice blackened crust, from Argentina too. Mystras and Spectral Lore from Greece are also among my favs :) Anyway, greetings!

Since I'm most a punk rocker than a metalhead, I actually tend to identify more with R.A.B.M. due their themes and ideology and sometimes I actually like that punkish style they tend to mix in their music. But honestly I don't listen to many R.A.B.M. bands and even when N.S.B.M. ideology seems stupid to me, I recognize that some bands have a really nice atmospheric sounds and riffs. However, In black metal I prefer bands that left out ideologys as the main aspect of their music(even all that cringy satanist bullshit). I tend to look more for that harsh and nihilistic introspective atmosphere unique in the genre.

Hi Zimorog ! I recently have discovered some NSBM bands. To my minds, They are not all really nazi. Because, They come from very different countries. Each country have his History and Society .Consequently, To be racist and nationalist is not the same thing in all countries. It is just my opinion. As far I am French, I kown and I love some Peste noire albums (Ballade cuntre lo anemi francor). Musically, I like very much but I don't share politic ideas of Famine. Same thing for Sordide. (Red and anarchist band from Normandy, in France) These men are good musicians but I dont like their politic ideas too ! ^^ This division make garbage between metalheads in France, It is very sad to me.... French metal Audience is not very numerus. I hate the idea to be separeted by politic ideas and metal subgenres. I remenber, during 2019 edition of MOTOCULTOR FESTIVAL, I felt that people stayed with their peers... Greeting from France !

nsbm is generally better in terms of songwriting i dont see why bm should be concerned with poolitics, politics in music is cringe especially extremist politics its too larpy and done for the sake edgelordism and with all the shit going on right now the last thing i want in music is pedantic politics. bm generally has been about atmosphere,evil,misanthropy,nihilism,life,fantasy,intrspection and some of these are indifferent orcontradict these political worldviews unless youre one of those people who mishmash ideologies into a contradictory cringefest.

Generally I agree. It's annoying though when the left-wing trolls spout off that because some band member has right-wing ideology, "NSBM CONFIRMED" even if the bands lyrics itself have nothing to do with NS - which is the case most of the time they claim this
@mach2223

To be fair, the same can be said about the early norwegian scene, people using satanism purely to outrage others. The politics here have a similar effect, being so taboo that people are disgusted at you immediately. It is for good reason, I admit, as they were way more evil than satanists ever could even come close to, but then again, sometimes it's the point.
@mach2223

@novax Communism killed more people than nazism, I don't see how it gets a get out of jail free card. Germans have been living in self hatred for 80 years because of it, even though almost none of them are old enough to even remember those times anymore. When have Russians ever apologised for fucking up half of Europe for 40 years, supplying countless "workers' revolutions" around the globe and killing tens of millions of people through famines? Oh, never you say? Interesting. Again, not defending nazism just saying that I'd actually rather be associated with it than communism. And fuck everyone who thinks otherwise, this is metal, no rules.

Because it makes as much sense as country rap. And many of the staple black metal bands are in direct opposition to Christianity. For good reason, given the fact a lot of them are Scandinavian. And are singing about the atrocities committed by the Christian church in the days of their ancestors. Forced conversions, destroying historical and cultural buildings and ways of life, and general poor treatment of their people. Not something that is taken lightly by anyone but sheep. So with that you can understand the disdain for Christianity. And it only adds insult to injury when those same people infiltrate that form of expression. Like my country rap example, early hip-hop was created to express the struggles of inner city African Americans and other minorities. And then a bunch of white guys come along and put their culture into it. Naturally, there is going to be mixed feelings about this. I cannot speak on behalf of R.A.B.M. but white metal is a contradiction in terms, and while I do respect an artist's individual right to express themselves. Its mere existence is pretty insulting when looking at its origins. It's almost allegorical to a Nazi trying to join a Jewish band.
