Looking great! I have been watching your progress as you have a similar system to what I'm about to embark on. Kato N Scale build approx. 6m x 2m in the attic. Just getting it all prepared with flooring etc. Will be a triple mainline (ATSF, UP, SP) US steam/diesel transition era, loosely proto on Tehachapi and Cajon Pass. I have a few interesting challenges with roof truss framing to work around but it forces an interesting design. Your system is DC? Are you thinking of DCC at some point? Cheers

hey gary, dc for me, dcc just cost too much and i have a main line run, i can run two trains and just let then go around sit back and watch, your layout sounds interesting

@@drewkato yeah I hear ya. I'm likely going to start out DC then transfer to DCC over time. Really like the look of the ESU system. Whats the minimum radius and inclines on your layout? I also notice you don't seem to use the Kato double track pieces, any reason for that? I have just about completed the first draft of my new layout design using SCARM. going over it and tweaking now. From a Kiwi to an Aussie keep up the great work and videos very helpful for some one like me who's re entering the hobby after nearly 40 years! Cheers
