I'll have to say I've not seen a better video with a matched soundtrack with model railroading & life-like train sound like this one. An extremely well made video!

Though an O-gauge man myself, if I was gonna go small, is step down to N and bypass HO altogether. What you/these guys are able to accomplish in this scale is astounding!

I watched this video the other day at work,and couldn't comment. I had to watch it again. I am glad you know how real Rail-roading really is.The meets ! That is where it is. It is common to see double mains,it used to be that way but not anymore.I look forward to,hopefully see more from you. That is a great layout! Thanks!

I like the splayout, fantastic. The sounds are real, I’m an N scaler myself. I recently made a municipal tower for my N scale Pacific West Coast Railroad. I’m in the process of doing my next 2 projects for it which are an oil tank for the steam locomotive SP Daylight 4449 & a Railroad water tower which will be made from empty Progresso soup cans, dowels for the water tower & pizza box for the tank holding cradles & the oil tank pad area.

I love the Mojave rail area. especially as it follows highway 58 by my old house in North Edwards. Those engines would fly across that flat desert right there.

Hello Jpaufsc, Talgo set comes from Spain brand. In 1990-1992 Ibertren(the brand which made the model), but after closed. Anyway, nowdays, you can find it on Arnold.

A very prototypical operation,I'm very impressed with the sound and realistic road speeds in general,the only thing missing is weathering of the cars,engines,rail ties.The signals are awesome,the scenery in general is outstanding. Now,if you were to get into"superdetailing",you could possibly add wires to the telephone poles and add some cell towers.

Yes, they are from Interail, which was my company! I designed these models.They are Thrall LO-PAC 2000 cars, vintage 1980s, especially equipped for refrigerated containers for APL (American President Lines). The blue set following them is also an APL car from Interail for dry containers. I sold the tooling to Deluxe Innovations in 1997, but they have not yet re-released these models. - Paul Ingraham

Here's a perfect example of why tripods were invented. Take heed, videoers. This is a great video and I enjoyed watching it a lot. A steady camera lets us enjoy the wonderful modelling. It's N scale, for goodness sake, and I still watched! Please join me in my campaign to rid the train video world of shaky, wildly panning and zooming videos.

Beautiful layout! This would be more impressive if it were in focus. As it is, depth of field is so limited only one small area is in focus in each shot. Try shooting this with a camera that has "aperture priority" and close down the aperture to increase the depth of field.

Sound is great, but the depth of field is way too small. you need to get it much larger i think and it will make the video more enjoyable to watch. Nice angles though

For all of the realism and beauty there is one critical flaw. Where oh where is the caboose. My dad was the Casey Jones of the Illinois Central Rail Road. Started shoveling coal in some of the last steam locomotives still around after WWII. Yes they still had some in the deep south. He worked his way up to engineer in a few years and at the end of his run had seniority from Memphis to the mouth of the gulf. I guess for 40 odd yrs he pulled mile long freighters from Jackson , Mississippi to New Orleans. Any way, he never left the round house without a Caboose tied to the back.
@samrowland58387 жыл бұрын
Where have you been?? Under a rock somewhere?? U.S. railroads haven't used cabooses for decades....
