Austin continues our Faction Overview series by going over the Morat Aggression Force, a militaristic and violent race from the Combined Army! Think a combination of Planet of the Apes and 300.

Great video! One trick you can do to take advantage of the gaki's 12 inch berserk is to impetuous up out of lof and then dodge into view of an enemy (since dodge movement doesn't provoke aro) That way you start your next order in LoS of an enemy

Definitely a good idea! The changes to the dodge mechanic are huge. Probably the change with the biggest implications for the game as a whole, imo. - Nathan

Note: between the Rasyat and the Taryot MAF finally has a wee bit of trickery. If you invest in a drop division of about 66 points you can juke the opponent by bluffing either two Rasyats or three Taryots. It's not much, but worth a mention I think.

Though to be honest my Rasyat has done most of its job by eclipse + DA CC attack, since they have MA 2 + NBW + CC 21

Hi, in this video at 6:30 you mention using an irregular order breaks the fireteam. I can't find any rule that says this, as far as i know you can change who the team leader is for an irregular or a regular order when declaring the order. You do lose impetuous as part of a fireteam though and that seems to be a negative for this style of unit. Edit: Nevermind, found it under fireteam integrity. That is pretty weird actually yeah.

Its a little confusing because Tactical awareness orders don’t break it. It would be nice if Oznats had, or could be Tac Aware. Despite that, imho, I think it could easily be worth using a couple orders from the order pool and the fireteam to both allow them to use partial cover, and to limit the number of AROs allowed. They can get almost anywhere in 2-4 orders. And they can berserk as a whole pack. They are so cheap that you can then afford the expensive HI profiles with NCO or Tac Awareness, or a Raicho (or two?!) with both, all of which come in firing teams that cab use those extra orders.

Immunity Crit means they don't take the extra roll, they can be crit and lose the F2F. I don't mind rules mistakes but don't rub it in your opponents face if you don't know the rule...

@@ConciliumWatch He also said "These guys can not be crit... having played with this it is so fun to be like "I crit", "no you didn't, not at all, not at all"" before mentioning the extra save. Austin either didn't know the rule, or represented it very poorly.

The MAF starter is always great! I would then follow that up with the Zerat blisters, Morat Vangard SWC box, Daturazi box, and either the Rodok or Yaogat boxes. Hope this helps!! - Austin
