@@Forever_Thatter I’m still getting this day one. This is a remaster for a reason, not a remake so of course they’re not gonna do anything crazy. They’re gonna do exactly what they said they’d do. I don’t think it’s a glorified texture mod but to each their own. Not everybody is off of the BioWare ship simply because of 2 flops or a controversial ending.

@Aronco I'm aware the original team is gone, I just hope the new new team is of the original quality. It probably won't be, but there is always a chance Andromeda will just be remembered as "the worst one"

Andromeda suffered from a lack of shepard and rider was a pathetic excuse for a protagonist the story was shite and the characters even worse. Bringing back shepard and the milky way is the only way to save the franchise at this point.

@@grezny479 It suffered from the lack of a strong and likable protagonist as well as unbearable companions. With more competent writers / voice actors we can have a new protag that will be worthy of leading the next ME. Shepard is iconic and was a great protagonist but it's time to move on.

@@toaarky okay so first of all yes, I agree that razoo hadn't told the volus their pronouns so it would've been more accurate to if the volus refered to them as sur-clan/ sur'kesh-clan yes. But you know razoo's pronouns so you should refer to them correctly using their pronouns when you are talking about them. And thirdly they can be used both singularly and plurally in English so it wouldn't be correct to assume they identify as multiple people. You refer to people using they them pronouns all the time when when you don't know what they are even if you don't realise it e.g. 'the coffee shop was so nice plus the barista gave me a free cake on the side' 'that was nice of them'

@@sunarctus no using "they/them" to talk about 1 person is confusing only people it would actually make sense to use those on is if the person in question has multiple personality disorder or was born a cross between a male and female... (Godammit i hate SJWs! They ruin everything including how you're supposed to talk!) If the person is male "he/he's/his" if it's female "she/she's/her" basic grammar.

And they in singular use (even when its not connected to non-binary or gender non-conforming people) has been used to at least back to the 1300s and is pretty common. Also intersex people may use whatever pronouns they wish, they dont have to default to they. Whether you think i am a sjw, I does not matter to me, I am just simply asking that you correctly refer to others. As I said this isn't a new thing to use they in this way, you can Google its use quite easily. If you have anything you are particularly confused about I can try and answer your questions.

Last 4? I personally don’t think so. Dragon Age Inquisition was game of the year. Mass Effect 3 would’ve been the best in the series but the last decision in the game was super controversial aaaand that’s it. I won’t argue on Mass Effect Andromeda or Anthem which I did enjoy both, 2 of those games flopped and 2 were massive success but what I will agree on is that they do need this to get back on track after 2 back to back flops from a company who used to be a powerhouse in gaming

@@xdeser2949 I loved the shit out of that game and invested well over 300+ at this point. It’s a great game and won game of the year for a reason. Well deserved. It wasn’t perfect, but man was it close to it in my opinion of course. The story, the DLC, the world, the lore, the graphics, the characters, the side missions, even the war table and customization of the keep and the specializations. So much of it was good and I could keep going. It was amazing to me, but not perfect I’ll admit.

How about just appreciate the damn video and don't be a prick? Jeez. People have to learn that entertainment is never tailored for specifically you and you have no right to feel it should be.

Every time I start to sink into the immersion of what is a very narratively focused system I have a jarring head jerk with another technical explanation about the game mechanics. My original post came after my fourth attempt to enjoy this. My constructive criticism to Austin as a fellow dm/player is to try and have these conversations pre-stream. When the need arises in game to clarify a mechanic try to do so narratively as much as possible instead of breaking out into a tutorial.
