Missing her so much. She's a spark in dark times. And this dance! Wet floor. She was running a temperature. Only Sridevi could do justice to this tappy song. And she moves from hardcore dance to spoofing herself in seconds. That little flick at 'baadal zulfon ka' when she realises her hair is too short to twirl! The chicken dance Comic transitions. And when she riffs the naagin face. Also when she tells the guy to her right to thoda-wait when they are kissing her hand! This one song has hazaar gold moments. It's a conversation almost - her face dances here. And she slo-mos in the end to music -- literally stops time. God, what a fabulous talent. She was Goddess. There's never gonna be anyone like her ever. Fab dancer, best actor, a super star. Heaven's lucky to have her glee. Will always miss her. Went too soon. Wish we could tell you HOW much we adored & respected you. Be at peace wherever you are, ma'am. My favouritest Dancing Queen.

@@MyRamu12 lot of heroines dominated like sridevi in south: jayaprada anyone? thofa? sridevi achieved more fame after moving to hindi with million dubbed films of jeetendra and every other hero mithun,rajesh khanna etc etc where they dubbed movies in telagu and made at same time in hind which benefitted sridevi the most. ------- the whole bollywood industry was south film dub mania starting from himmatwala, justic chudary and that big mythological film which saved and revived many hindi hero career:jeetendra being the biggest. it lasted whole 80's including amitabh. And sridevi was the leading lady. --------------- things only changed in 90 with arrival of young guys: jackie, anil,deol,govinda, kumar gaurav etc etc then it changed with meenakshi, madhuri etc. like they did not have to do lot of south films to move to hollywood to make it big. even today hindi girls use south indian movies as platform to make it big in hindi cinema. ------------------------ the original bombay, delhi girls do not have time due to bombays way of life. calcutta and delhi also similar. Aish,deepika from south, juhi had break from south, rekha herself was south and who else? -------------------------- there were couple of heroines on par with vijayanti-mala but because bombay was very far from madras( capital of south films) it was hard for them to go there and live and make movies. -------------------------- feroz khan lived in bangalore he had tough time going to bombay to make films. he made very few films but look at quality. -------------------------------- sridevi is modern superstar of-course but there were others too especially jayaprada( amitabhs favourite)

Sridevi had a heavier figure compared to most other heroines, yet she could dance soooo effortlessly, swiftly n flawlessly... Each of her steps n expressions was a treat for the eye😍😍😍Many of her contemporary n later actresses imitated her facial expressions n body language in their performances. Sri was an icon indeed!

Sunitha shetty ji. Granted that what you say is partly right, but it is alsi true that a movie or a song is the combined effort of several people. Otherwise every actor would have produced , written , edited and acted all by himself. And in this case , and coming from one who has had some insider's knowledge , let me tell you that the actress and the director shared an excellent professional rapport. No doubt that sridevi was not only a great actress but a lovely human being as well. Rest In Peace sri. You will always be missed.

Yes, this is one of the best rainy songs in Bollywood. But ,there are some more nice romantic rainy songs like Tip tip tip baarish shuru ho gayi ( sung by Amit Kumar and Asha Bhosle),Parbat se kali ghata takrayi ( sung by Vinod Rathod and Asha Bhosle)and Aalaa re paaus alaa ( sung by Amit Kumar and Alka Yagnik).
