my childhood movie..bringing back lots of memories.. the scene at 21.30 min..no phone or any sort of technology...this is how 2 way communication happen when ppl work in estate..one will shout and the echo of his sound will reach another person and replied back vice versa.. Can't forget the athirasam tata scene too ! Golden old days..will cherish the memory of this movie forever :)

Been so many years waiting someone to upload this movie. The weight of memories this movies carries, personally for me is quite heavy. As a young kid I still remember Naan Oru Malaysian being telecast on RTM if not mistaken. Could be 1991 or 1992. This movie discuss social issues, local lingo, mannerism, neighbourhood ties attached to our daily life during that period. Actually almost all Malaysian Tamil movies and serial share this value till date. Sticking with reality, so to speak. Time flies by. Mist in the eyes. All the actors, real people involved in this movie deserve thanks and love. Most of the actors stay active in local film/radio scene. Sungai Choh changed a lot. Many are displaced. Hope all do good. Who knows if those who involved held a live meeting/get together, that would be great. Thanks @MSK Movies. Me and several others did request this movie in other affiliated channel. Maybe ya'll took noticed. It is work involved since movie been digitalized. After 30 years, we can watch our movie again. At last.

Wow was searching for this movie for so long... MSK thanks for uploading. The only copy I have is in video tape which is not very clear. This movie brings back so much memories as there is a lot of scenes taken at Sungei Choh Estate Rawang where my dad Mr. Alex Joseph was stationed. He even appears in a small scene in 1:22:30. Did not know he could act so well.... Kudos..lovely. thanks.. to producer, director, all for this heart wrenching movie. Touching moments of Indians of yesteryears in Malaysia at the heart of plantations & their livelihoods..

பழைய படம் பார்ப்பதுபோல் இருக்கிறது. இதில் பணிபுரிந்தவர்களே Like செய்தால் அதிகமாய் Like கிடைத்திருக்கும். சத்தம் மிக அதிகமாய் இருக்கிறது.

Just want to ask as a Chinese Msian. The lead character I believe is an Indian actor. Some of ladies are Malaysians. The Tamil accent used here I can understand well. Familiar Msian Tamil accent. Can any Indian Nationals or Malaysian tell me whther there is a significant difference in accent btw Msian and Indian used in the movies. And if there is which Tamil Nadu accent is closest to Msian. I refer to is the colloquial dialect not Sen Tamil. Even Penang Atmil is different to Selangor Tamil. For my ears , Pondicherry and Salem accents are closest to Malaysian but not quite. Msian accent is more melodious.
