Nepalese director Nabin Subba and actor Dayahang Rai have brought their film 'A Road to a Village' to the Toronto International Film Festival 2023. The story honours those left behind when people leave for big cities to make their lives larger. In conversation with film journalist and critic Meenakshi Shedde, the director-actor duo talks about the impact of independent cinema, bringing their film to TIFF 2023, and creating a movie that gently makes a strong socio-economical comment.

Why is he preparing for an English examination so that he has to learn English?He is good at what he does and that's acting.Why are so obsessed with English?English is just a medium of communication and doesn't measure Ur calibre.Have you seen the football star Messi and Ronaldo,they don't prefer to speak in English.So what do you called them they should also learn English.Their networth speaks matters,not English.Many European countries like france, Italy they don't speak English.
