Hey everyone!!! As I continue to help home buyers overcome today's housing obstacles, I want to share how several home buyers are achieving their goal to stop renting.

The more paperwork and the faster you respond to them when the need a document even if they ask again, just do it asap. They are overloaded with people, it’s a nonprofit as well . Once you get approved they are paying a lot for people. Big deal if you have to send a document again or whatever. It’s worth it. People need to be patient and make sure they have all their ducks in a row. I would say have everything uploaded and ready before even approaching the program so you can go through the program the fastest. The more prepared you are, the faster the process is. Look up other KZfaq videos on what they required first

I agree I’m not going to be ready till next year I already got my Naca folder with my paperwork ready like tax returns from this year so when it’s my time I’ll be prepared.

I learned more in the 30-minute video than I did in the 2.5-hour NACA workshop. The perks of NACA seem amazing, but that workshop made me question if I can trust them with this process.

Yes, the perks are amazing but reaching those perks is the difficult task. I decided to help buyers reach their home ownership goals using a less stressful journey.

😂 that's your opinion, but it's not if you trust them it's moreso if you're up to the task of putting in the work to get to you end goal. NACA is based off your efforts. So far I haven't found anything yet that even come close what NACA can do.

I agree. You hear about the "benefits" but is it really worth the headache of how the organization is run....says the person that has tried it 2 twice with no success...lol

One good thing about Naca is that you can use your section 8 voucher to purchase a home

No lies I wasted 2 years with naca keep on giving me the run around. As soon as I stop working with them I was qualified for fha loan

Thank you for sharing your experiences! A lot of people would qualify for a traditional FHA loan if they would get their credit together and reduce debt vs taking what they think is the "easy" route.

Yolanda, you are amazing! I'm in the process of looking for my first home. I lived in Charlotte (apartment living and I hated it too) then moved away for a year or so to tackle some debt and now I'm debt free with a high credit score, so I'm ready to move back. A friend also sent me information on the NC 1st Home Advantage Down Payment, which is exciting, and I also prefer new construction. Currently, I'm working on my savings like you mentioned so I will be ready when the time comes. And I will be consuming your videos. This was so unbelievably helpful! Thank you so much!

With the first time homebuyer grant can you sell within the 15 years and pay it back out of the equity of your home?

Great question! Yes, what ever amount is owed towards the grant would be collected from the proceeds of the sale. History shows that real estate increases in value over time so yes, the equity can be used.

No I did not waste money. You get what ever the current rate is at the time of purchase. I was grateful that the rates went down and I was able to SAVE more money.

What's the red tape!??? They put you where your need to be for the underwriter, which regardless of program or loan you go through you will have to get pass their underwriter.
