Trail day adventure with the biggest 76 series Land Cruiser in South Africa.
Carlos self built this behemoth of a Land Cruiser not just for tackling trails but touring as well.
While on his 4000km touring round trip from the North we also met up with Hannes from Vanventures, Riaan from Roam Free Overland and Dieter Pey to enjoy a trail, braai and camp at one of our local spots.

Thanks. We've done a night trail video before (Cooper Dust Series). Unfortunately very difficult to film with the low light.

Lockers in my opinion. Your lift is more than enough, unless your aim is to build a flex monster on 37s. Geeze, Twin locked, that beast will be unstoppable!

Agreed, for a touring vehicle it's got more than enough flex for my needs. I might have slapped 37s on another 80 already🤪

Thanks Daniel. Enige locker sal op hierdie stadium mooi werk. Daar is gelukkig so paar opsies waarna mens kan kyk. Alles net natuurlik teen 'n prys

Toyota se elektries "actuated" lockers werk goed vir my (105 en 70 series). ARB het 'n video clip waar hulle 'n heeltemal ander konsep elektriese locker met hulle pneumaties "actuated" locker vergelyk, maar die Toyota lockers is heel anders as wat hulle beweer en my bietjie ondervinding meer betroubaar as ARB. ARB misinformation !!!

Op die einde van die dag het elke een maar sy voor en nadele. Ek het 'n ander 80 met factory lockers wat nog werl. Dalk bou ek dit nog oor😬
