I think the drums during the chorus really drives this song

Ok this was the perfect combo after nirvana back in the 90s. Foo fighters, smashing pumpkins, hum, nada surf, sunny day real estate and jawbox. Did you all agree???

Great band, great song. Still love High/Low. Saw them play twice around this era, 2nd time (The Garage, London) was was of my favourite gigs ever. They were always slightly heavier live, whenever Matthew caws stood on that pedal, the guitar sound just exploded.

This should have been much bigger hit.

It was still a pretty big hit. I'm just glad they still play, and they've made some wonderful albums in the intervening years.

True, if this was released earlier in the 90s. But the depth of talent and quality of work during that time (anytime before the 2000s) was insane! After the mid-90s it was clear that mainstream music, film, television was stopping its sensible and sane approach to blending the commercial element with artistic merit.

@XxStonedImmaculatexX2 жыл бұрын
@@casey2173 oh yea the chorus is easy to sing and play along to! This song also reminds me of a Solider we lost in Afghanistan. I was in my hooch playing my acoustic and he recognized when I played this riff right away, then he was KIA about less than 1 week later. I guess I’ll never be able to forget that
