Koti koti Pranaams to Kuldeepji for bringing out this rendition by another gem Sooryanarayanan. This song was sung by my mother when father's family visited for marriage alliance, ever since every Friday in our evening pooja at home Amma would sing this during aarathi. And today I am hearing this during my pregnancy. May Lord muruga bless your efforts and the kid with Grace for lifetime.

Just like how Kartikeya emerged as sparks of fire from Parameshwara's third eye to illuminate the world from darkness, Kuldeep Anna's presentations arrive like sparks of illumination to remind us and guide us back into the ananda (bliss) of the deep cave of the heart where the divine ever is present (Guha). Thank you is a small word for this gem, this BalaMurugan's rendition on Murugan and your knowledge presented in the translation-all are indeed "kinkini" and a "deep mangala jyothi". P.S-the sound of ghanta nadam (bells ringing) during "deepa mangala jyothi" stands out and brings darshan of the kind Swaminatha Guha Muruga in the heart! Vetrivel Muruganukku Harohara!

I am Telugu & a few days ago i randomly came across this boy’s video of ‘Muthai Tharu Pathi Thirunagai” Such amazing voice & clarity, an amazing rendition by Sooryanarayanan. 🌸 After listening, i fell into deep research of Sri Arunagirinathar, his life, his compositions, and the Divine Lord Muruga or Kumaraswamy or “Vegu Koti naama sambu kumara namo nama”🙏 I have become a huge fan of Tirupugazzh and i am trying to learn the songs a little bit myself. I believe Lord Muruga is truly shining through this little boy. 🙌 His guru & the team behind this video are the reason i came across Tirupugazh today, and for that i want to sincerely Thank you🙏

Although many individuals singing Thirupugazh may pronounce it as 'Raja Gambeera' (Majestic), the correct term is Raja Gembira, which pertains to the Uyyakondan region (Raja Gembira naadu), with Vaylur as the capital town. This attention to detail reflects a deep reverence for the divine 🙏

Beautiful rendition by dear Sooryanarayan.The innocent boy has now grown up .....This rendition brought the memory of an old incident to my mind.Years back my violin Guru Hariharan master and his Guru Violin Maestro M Chandrasekhar sir visited Tiruchendur temple. But that day there was a big rush at the temple.As they were in a hurry to attend another programme which was fixed earlier, they decided not to go in the queue. Sir told that he would sing one stuthi and leave afterwards. Chandrasekhar sir stood in front of the Mukha Mandapam and started singing this kriti aloud. All people around there kept listening in spite of the rush. In between , the priest of the temple came out, approached sir and told him that he should sing it in front of the deity, not outside the Mandapam. The priest took them inside , made them stand in front of Lord Murugan and asked sir to sing it fully. What else does a devotee and musician like Chandrasekhar sir want? He sang the whole kriti so nicely that the crowd there stood in silence , enjoying the heavenly experience. When I heard this little vidwan singing this , a whole lot of old memories of going to Tiruchandur, Palani, Swamimalai etc came rushing to my mind. Thank you dear ... May this channel bring joy and bliss to the listeners ...Thank you Kuldeep and team...

This "poem" reminded me how our school years have been wasted with fake stories of Alexander the ?great , the ?great mughals, etc. I wish kids start their day with these Hymns which put us in Harmony with the Heavens. Teachers should do an effort in that sense, please.
